Should you slug a survivor in a 1v2 situation?
I do this a lot with the nurse to keep the last survivor escaping via hatch. I probably already know the answer to this question, but I would like to hear opinions about slugging in general.

If you want to suffer for 20 minutes until the survivor finally shows up, then yes. (50% the survivor on the ground DCs anyways).
If you want to get the game over with asap, then no.

I usually run whispers as nurse and since I'm in higher ranks ( 11 right now ) the other survivors actually fall for the slugging, so it makes it a lot shorter.
But I guess in lower ranks it probably a time waster.
Funny as I had a rank 4 dude tell me that I was trash after he tried to help his friend after I slugged him, and I killed them both.

There is no "should". It's your decision.

If you want the 4K, you need to slug. If you dont care, dont slug.

I don't. It just draws things out and I don't mind if the last guy finds the hatch before I can finish him off. I've been the slugged guy too, it's boring sitting there.

Does the other Survivor deserve the hatch more than you deserve the 4k?
If they deserve the hatch, don't slug.
If they don't deserve the hatch, slug.

Waste of time imo. I only do it against toxic swf groups to show who's boss. But most of them DC anyway to give his mate the hatch.

Kill them everyone just gets to being annoyed and it gets the game over faster so everyone can get in the next one faster

Slug all you wish whenever, if survivors find that an issue, they should run an anti slug build then, rather then whine.

Depends on the survivor team and/or my general mood that match. Sometimes, when it's down to 2v1, I will slug one, get the other on the hook, and then hook the slugged survivor just for the 4k.
Sometimes, I won't care and the last one can have the hatch. I'll hook the third survivor and then park the killer somewhere while the last one runs to the hatch.

I typically don't care enough about the 4k to extend the match. If they were teabagging and being "lol toxic" the entire game, maybe. I just want to have successful games and have fun, and 3k is a successful game to me.

If I have seen both of them and know where the last guy is then yes, I slug. It is the easiest and quickest way to end the match.
If I don't, then I don't slug. Last one can get the hatch.
I think it is partly because I care more about bloodpoints then 4k or surviving. Easiest and quickest way is the best way for me.

If you're looking to rank up or used a BP booster, slug.
If you're not, don't bother.

Deserving is not the issue. That is the problem in this game. Too many are concerned with who deserves what. For all you know, the guy on the ground did nothing all game and the other worked their butt off.
It's a game. Nobody is getting paid. It's about having fun, not being deserving.

I only slugged on a few occasions all in attempt to do trophies, next slugging time might be adept pig otherwise I don't worry about it

Pretty much this, I usually hate and avoid slugging at all costs as I know how much it sucks on the receiving end HOWEVER if I just spent 15 minutes walking to untouched gens and investigating the map thoroughly/opening lockers/checking corners etc and have found two survs playing standoff or follow the leader to hide near the hatch then DESTROY THEM. But if you're down to last gen or gates are up etc then don't bother unless your life depends on that 4k like I've seen around here sometimes... (or if you're attempting adept and 2 gens have gone up in 2 seconds...)
