A concern about PSN ID change in regards to dbd

Sooo. I’ve been thinking about changing my psn, but I’ve heard of games losing data or losing purchases because of it.

I know PlayStation has released a statement saying that DBD isn’t affected by changing your name but I’m still concerned just in case the testing wasn’t necessarily done in depth.

seeing as how dbd saved data is tied to your psn it worries me cause I’ve put like 1 billion hours into the game and have all the teachable, etc.

so can a developer or another player WHO HAS DONE IT confirm it doesn’t erase saved data or dlc plz?

    I've done it. It's fine with DBD. Still have cosmetics, account, devotion, etc.

    Hell my bloodborne seems fine.


    Now if I could change THIS name without a new account....thatd be great. Because I have no ties to the U/N anymore lol.

    I've changed my account name. So far nothing is wrong with Dead by Daylight.

    Yeah Dbd was one of the games they tested. Its fine.
