Ps4 hacking?
I know this is an issue on pc, but I was blissfully thinking it was impossible on console?

Hacking on any platform is possible. Hell, I bet you can hack to play on different platforms.

I have been playing on PS4 for three years now and i never met a hacker on any game. I don't think it's possible5

Sure it is possible, but very unlikely. I dare to say that no DBD console player has the knowledge to do so (its not as easy as on pc)

Flat out hacking is really rare. I’ve met only a handful of hackers. One full 4 man SWF of speed hackers (Running faster than I can Chainsaw sprint as Billy. That was an interesting match...) One Random Speed hacking P3 Meg. 2 Wall Hack Nurse Players.
Lag Switch is more common, and can be confused with Speed Hacking as the game literally lags your character model if you running so fast it can’t keep up with your placement. Few Lag Switch Killers, several Lag Switch Survivors.
Though I play DBD way too much, so after about 1200 hours I can still safely say it’s extremely uncommon.5 -
Don’t worry, you’ll be okay. He’s either angry that’s you escaped or he was lagging. I play on PS4 too. Reporting doesn’t even work anymore, the devs just don’t care.6

Thank you, thats what I thought. Just weird because I always try to play fair, so I have no idea what I did to make him think I was speedhacking, only had selfcare on since I just prestiged.Master said:Sure it is possible, but very unlikely. I was not worried about that, because I know that I dont, but more of the part that made him think I did. I had no perks, usually run lithe, but since I just prestiged, I only had self care at the time. So that made me wonder how common it was on ps4, because I as a killer might curse over some exhaustion perks at times (we all do), but I've never thought anyone was hacking, because I really thought console was pretty safe from that, not being as easy to hack as pc (blames the streamers for making me think that, haha)Peanits said:Possible? Sure. Common? No. But if you aren't actually cheating, you've got nothing to worry about.

4 speed hackers in one game? Wow, yeah, that must have been interesting.
Good to hear that it is uncommon, I play quite a lot too, so that is why I thought it didnt happen because exept lag switching, I have never encountered anything else. Guess we are lucky like that on console.

Yeah Man Hacking is possible if you will use this specific PS4 Jailbreak (https://psxexploits.com/ps4-jailbreak-exploit-cfw/). After installing this on your console you have to use some tools that are mentioned in the article. These tools allows you to hack games like Pubg etc.
One of my friend has done this in front of me.🤣
