Kill Switch update: The issue affecting Baermar Uraz's Ugly Sweater has been fixed and the cosmetic has been reenabled in all queues with this update.

Banning people instead of disabling the addons...

I understand making games takes a lot of work and time, but this is one thing that is completely unacceptable, amateur and anti-consumer.

On top of the fact they almost never roll out hot-fix patches and just let stuff sit broken like this for months on end.

If this is Cote's vision for Dead By Daylight, I'm not interested.

They're using an exploit to ruin the fun of other's. If anything, keeping it on helps the devs find out who is apart of the toxic-side of the game to get rid of them and try to keep things under control for future updates. The add-ons are broken, yeah, but now that practically everyone knows about it, if you're gonna take the time to go out and ruin someone's day, especially after being warned about doing it, then you might as well just accept your fate.

They should lock the addons till they are fixed. Also some people dont read the message and might pick them without knowing then ruin 1 game untill they get it and then get banned? Thats also unfair people who continue to do it pls ban them but do not pretent it wouldnt be easy to just lock the addons and save 100% of all games instead of banning people and still having some games ruined.

If its not shoved in your face on the log in screen then only about 15% of the player base probably knows about it. I'm willing to bet that there have been unjust bans.

I don't know what country you live in but enabling illegal activity to persecute people is called entrapment regardless if it catches "bad guys".

Will I would normaly agree with this position, they are addons, it would take them an insignificant ammount of time to roll an hotfix to disable those addons will we wait for them to be reworked.

Also the position that every one know about it is ludicrous, the overwhelming majority of player don't use the forum at all, unless the dev issued an ingame warning it's safe to assume that the silent majority have literaly no idea about it.

I don't even know what changed in Legion because I haven't read about it, & probably should, but because of all this talk about bans and stuff i've been scared to play Legion at all.

@OffensiveHumor Just don't use both of his blade add-ons at once and you'll be fine. Don't be scared to play anyone. :)

@OffensiveHumor Currently a bug that allows you to exploit their extended mending time to stack, causing Survivors to mend up to five minutes or more.
