That the Entity is officially actively participating in the trials now? Or at the very least giving passing glances every so often?

The Killer never does the actual killing outside of Offerings and a few Perks.
The Entity always actively made the final blow on the hooks.
Without it, they'd just be able to get unhooked infinitely.

I wouldn't be surprised if, at some point, we get some sort of Entity-driven Killer.

One could argue windows & exits are already requiring the Entity to interfere with Entity Blockers.

Anyway, the way i see it is that The Entity has gained enough sacrifices and enough strength to be able to fully participate in the trials, This is just the beginning though in exploring her full power.
As she is a malevolent being capable of being vastly stronger than both survivor and killer, seeing as though she literally broke the spine of them.
