The Wraith will never be buffed?

I LOVE the Wraith, but as i'm playing him i see that is so difficult to have fun with him.. he is bullied by survivors, can we get a buff/rework so he can be enjoyable or playable? Please i love him but i can't enjoy his gameplay that much because he his so underpowered... What do you think guys?

On the second Q&A session on the DbD YouTube channel they mentioned something about wanting to change the Wraith's movement speed when uncloaking. Don't recall them bringing up any other potential changes to him.

    Probably not.
At least it's not planned for the next 3 months or so.

As a consolation price, you can buy pidgeon poop Wraith (Candle Wraith) and get shat on until they decide he needs some love.

The Wraith doesn't need a buff. He needs a rework. He's a killer who can cloak, uncloak and chase without a power. And that's it. A killer with no tools to assist in a chase is not a good killer and never will be. Wraith was designed for the DbD of two years ago, not the DbD of today. He was quickly eclipsed by newer stealthy ambush killers.

Honestly I do just fine as Mr. Bing Bong. I run Fired Up, Brutal Strength, BBQ, and either NOED or MYC. In all honesty the influence of the Clown has helped my build out a lot that I'll probably swap BBQ for Pop Goes.

Now as for whether or not he needs a buff oh most assuredly. I won't use the windstorm add-ons at higher rank since the slow from them beyond the yellow is just mindnumbing if you don't have the ability to come out of cloak faster. Slight tweaking of cloak and decloak speed, tweaking of windstorm, and out right changing the no TR while immobile out of stealth as well as the sound reducers for bell and I think he'll be just fine.

One of the main problems I see in Wraith is that he doesn't really have any power that you can make much better with your skill as a player. I'd like him to get a secondary ability along the likes of Pig's lunge/crouch. I think that could go a long way to making Wraith a good Killer.

I know they plan on improving his Perks very soon.

I suspect he didn't get bigger buffs yet simply because they wanted to fix the looping/pallet issues first. It's usually better to fix something that affects most killers first, that way you have to do less balance work on individual killers later.
