Totem Protection
Totem placement is always an issue. What about a stop gap fix? What if totems did not light up for 1 minute. After 1 minute passes, the remaining totems are randomly assigned. This gives some of the totem perks a chance to impact the game.

Might actually be a good idea! Makes Hex Totems a bit stronger, and since it is impossible to get all totems before one minute... :)

Don't challenge bored SWFs!
60s is plenty of time to destroy all the totems and to be fair, I would love to use Hex perks but survivors need a counterplay.
Otherwise perks like Ruin become OP, like 1 min of guarantee Ruin plus totem hunt.
I rather would love to have more interaction with totems, survivors and killers. Like a better Thrill of the Hunt.

If an sec wants to focus heavily on totems for 60 seconds, I'm happy to have them do so. That's 60 seconds they are not hitting gens.
One other thing, killers should be able to tell which hex totem is which. I should be able to prioritize my totems and their defense.

Wouldn’t be opposed to this along with BHVR continuing to work on totem placement.
I agree with the guy above, killers should know which totem is which. i’d like a totem counter for all players as well as killers being able to revive their hex totem with a dull one.

A totem is a totem. Clever survivors will clense every totem they find. Dumb survivors will be sacrificed easily in the end no matter what they do.

Then that could be a counter, as survivors could waste time cleansing totems for a minute instead of doing gens so killers could close in on them faster.
