I haven't played in a long time, but today almost every game ends with a disconnect. What's that about?

Welcome to Dead by Disconnect. Been this way for a good percentage of the playerbase since the Plague patch.
The most you're going to get is "We're looking into it." which is really "We're ignoring it since dedicated servers are coming soon."
