New Park: Walkie Talkies (4man SWF)
The survivor has granted you a rare gift, allowing you to communicate with other survivors.
Non-character specific, required to play in a 4man SWF.
This will hopefully give killers a bit more of a chance against the maphacking & other knowledge survivors shouldn't have.
1) Where the killer is
2) If it safe to unhook
3) If it is safe to do generators (and which are safe to do)
4) Where the hatch is
5) Coordinated Distractions
6) Where Traps Are
7) Where (special) Totems are
8) etc.
These are all things survivors are not supposed to know without keen gamesense and awareness. However, because they are on voice comms with each other, they all know where each other is at all times and where the killer is. This grants a massive advantage to the SWF group that needs to be counter-balanced.
Or require an extra generator in 4man SWF.
Something needs to be done.

Walkie Talkies is an interesting name for a Park

@Mat_Sella Thank you! It was originally 'cellphone' but I thought walkie talkie would be more lore immersive

i Don’t really think there’s much they can do I mean everyone communicates on a program that’s not in game so what can they really do? Even if it’s only 2 or 3 people that are swf how would adding an extra gen be fair to the people that are not in that party? I do agree though if all four people are swf then there should be something to keep it fair but I don’t understand how they would do that for a three man swf because that still puts the killer at a great disadvantage

I'm not talking about 2 or 3 people SWF. I specifically said 4 SWF. Major difference... thank you for your reply though @Moonlight

I understand that what I’m trying to say is a 3 man isnt really that much different than a 4 man and this situation wouldn’t be fair to just place in just a 4 man and not a 3 man but at the same time it’s not fair if it is placed in a 3 man to that one person that’s not in the party

Allow killers to see when they are in lobby with a 4 man swf and watch as 4 mans never get games. When they cry enough devs will be forced to come up with a solution

I understand that what I’m trying to say is that a 3 man isn’t really that much different than a 4 man and to just place this scenario in a 4 man and not a 3 man is still unfair to the killer but to place it in a 3 man is unfair to the one survivor

@ApeOfMazor I just leave whenever I see 4 people join at the same time

@MystiKasT Let's be realistic for a moment. SWFs are not new to DbD. Behavior has been aware of all the complaints for a long time now. They haven't done anything about it outside of minor things like all survivors seeing who the Obsession is, and small things like that.
It's unlikely they will do anything to better balance against SWFs. Hell, they encourage 4-man SWFs right on their Official Dead by Daylight Discord server, where they have voice-comm rooms set-up for people to 4-man SWF through.
Don't get me wrong, I agree with you. But Behavior has pretty much dug their heels in with SWF to the point of making it easy to do through their own Discord server.
It's actually the primary reason that I just can't play this game as a "main game." It's just more frustrating than fun as a Killer.
