Mettle of Man Balance
I have an idea on to balance on how to balance Mettle of Man. First off the normal stats will stay the same, with the three hits, endurance and the rest. So what I’m thinking is that Mettle of Man should be a punishment perk for killers that don’t use their power in order to down survivors. Which is saying chainsaws, hatches, etc. “But Midnight what about Wraith, Hag, Doctor or the other m1 killers?” Well comment section I have already thought of that. There are blood point rewards for each killer using their powers in order to down a survivor.
Wraith: Surprise Attack: Done by uncloaking and hitting a survivor shorty after
Nurse: Lethal Blink: Done by hitting a survivor post-blink.
Hag: Phantasm Attack: Done by teleporting to a triggered trap and hitting a survivor shortly after.
Doctor: Attack Bonus: Done by shocking a survivor and hitting them shorty after.
Pig: Ambush Dash: Done by crouching and charging after the survivor.
Nightmare: Dream Chaser: Done by sleeping a survivor and hitting them shorty after the transition.
Clown: Wasted: Done by throwing a bottle to intoxicate them and hitting them in the gas cloud.
Spirit: Grudge: Done by hitting a survivor shortly after coming out of Phase Walk.
Plague: Infection: Done by hitting a survivor after they are fully infected.
So each of the rewards show that the killer uses their power in order to down a survivor, and should be the way each of those killer can avoid a Mettle of Man stack. “But what about the Shape and the new Legion?” I have already thought up the ideas for both.
Shape: When in the tier three exposed state, hitting or downing a survivor won’t count towards a stack.
(New) Legion: If a survivor is hit by Feral Frenzy and is attacked normally, it won’t count towards a stack.
So this is how I think Mettle of Man could be balanced for survivor. It is to have killers use their powers in order to get a survivor or they will be punished for chasing down a survivor and hitting them normally.

Explain to me why exactly should a killer get punished for hitting a survivor in any kind of way while the survivor gets rewarded for it? Have you ever seen a FPS game that rewards a player who is getting demolished by the enemy team? No, because that would make no sense, this is the same. This perk is horrible and needs a complete rework.

This still doesn't make the perk balanced.
The Pay off of MoM Is one of the best pay off in the game at a moment when you should be going down, It needs counter play yes but it also needs a serious drawback for the serious reward it gives.

MoM is fine the way it is.
I play mostly killer too.

Yeah I haven't actually had MoM make a difference in a single game yet.
