de-ranking because killers DCïng
I just played an match now that an Spirit was gen rushed and when the Exit Gates got open, shes quits and I losed one pip and de-ranked to rank 9 again, she didn't even hooked no one, so one to unhook to gain points. Very fair, they should do something about this.

Yeah: address gen rush. Because survivors are not going to gift anyone hooks or kills when they can win while dying.

How obvious of you to skid around the OPs original complaint: DC'ing on either side punishes ALL players.
Calm them Killah Main fingaz down and READ.

It happens, killer gets pissy because he/she can't get kills.
Killers DC because their totems get destroyed in seconds.
Killers DC in Corn Maps.
Killers DC in Haddonfield.
Survivors DC for several reasons too, it just happens.

My totem went down in one of my matches as soon as it started. I wanted to quit but I play for BP so it sucks but I can still get points vs none for continuing the match. Totems need rework.

You think this makes ranking up hard?
I'm at rank 14 because I hardly play this game anymore but still try to rank up while doing achievements. I go against 2 - 3 killers which should be higher rank anyway and my team always contain potatoes with legs, ragequitters, and immersed people.
Example: I unhooked the guy on the farm map with killer around 40 meters away. He run STRAIGHT at the killer and then disconnected when he got smacked in the head. - That's a great way to derank your teammates.

What rank were you and the rest of your team (was everyone rank 8 or just you)? Did you get anything for Unbroken? Did you get chased at all?

I honestly don't blame killers for quitting. When you play killer just about every groups of survivors are a bunch of a-holes who teabag and make the game go on unnecessarily long. If survivors had more class this would probably be less of an issue.

Killers quitting is quite common. With the new servers coming it will penalize trash on both sides.

That's funny, because OP said the magic words: gen rush. Address it. DCing survivors don't penalize me it just makes my job that much easier. Calm down, survivor mayne and go posse up like the lot of you do anyway.

@DBD_Pinhead "Genrushing" isn't an excuse to DC. Unless we're going to say it's fine to get a 4-man DC 'cause they don't like an add-on or killer. Hint: It's not.
