Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Game is not borderless fullscreen. Need Help

The same thing happened with Terraria this morning so I think my computer has changed something for whatever reason when it restarted. I could easily fix this for Terraria, but Dead By Daylight doesn't have the option to fullscreen windowed.

Can anybody help me out here? My PC is running Windows 10. I have tried toggling fullscreen on and off to fix it, but it keeps showing the task bar.

Normally I wouldn't have any problem whatsoever with the task bar being in front of the window, but the real problem lies in the fact that this game does not lock the mouse to the centre of the screen when mid-game. Ages ago I used to play Killer with a controller just so I wouldn't click the recording widget in the top-left side of the screen (Xbox DRM, don't ask) that would prevent me from swinging, but I've since ditched recording software.

I'm fine with it being this way when playing Survivor, but not when playing Killer. I need my game to be borderless window fullscreen. Should I restart my computer and see if that undoes whatever's happened, or do I need to check the configs?

Do fullscreen mode or restart Windows Explorer.

Have you tried using alt+enter command? That worked best for me when trying to get it into window/fullscreen mode. If you really want windowed fullscreen I'd look to the config files, but it might not be any better than it is for you now.
