Lost a lot of BPSs and Survivor Pudding
So since the Blood Event started, I've been noticing an increase in "resets". I've done a hard line modem and router reset...but it doesn't seem to help. Game starts like normal, survivors populate the lobby, the match goes to load and hangs for about 4 - 5 minutes. The game then kicks me back out to the killer menu, not a lobby. This has happened about 8 times over this weekend...in the video example, I used a Survivor pudding and 2 survivors used BPSs. All these items were lost, as well as the 10 minutes in the lobby as well as the 5 minutes waiting for the hang to complete.
The video is boring, but just 45 seconds to demonstrate the process. That's a lot of BPs being lost.

So anytime you're in a situation like that and your loading bar shows some progress, there is always ONE person in the lobby whose bar has not progressed at all. I know this because I generally play SWF and when this happens to one of us and that person closes the game, everyone else loads normally.
If it goes on for a long time, it's simply because the person not loading is being selfish and doesn't want to DC from the game so everyone else can play

So would you consider my bar to have "some progress", or is that considered no progress? I ask only because I get just that little bit at the start, and then nothing. I'm just trying to isolate if this is something on my end that I can or cannot control.

That is "SOME" progress. Somewhere in that lobby, there is someone's bar who is completely empty and when that person leaves, everyone else will load.
Sometimes, it's the killer and sometimes it's the survivors

Basically. Unless that person leaves the lobby, everyone else is stuck infinite loading. And it isn't even their fault. It's literally just the "pretty good job so far"

Wow....tried to do the "Ace gate open" daily, and got hit with it...talk about coincidence. Hopefully everyone else got to play. Seeing it from both ends in the same day confirms for me that it's NOT me. But man...I've lost like x16 blood points. 8 BPSs or Puddings ON TOP of the x2!
Waited about 2 minutes, saw NO progress, Ctrl, Alt, Del out of game...
So happy I didn't use a BPS or Survivor Cake...literally within an hour of each other!
