FPS on console? What happened to it?

So. FPS is progressively supposed to get better from chapter 11 (update 2.6.0) to chapter 14 (3.2...?). Estimating chapter 14 won’t be out until December-ish. Why is it on console, or Xbox to be precise, that between these last 2 updates the FPS seems progressively worse that from before the work being done on FPS. I used to be able to mostly hit hex skill checks, now I can’t. If you use an exhaustion perk, it even drops. Can we explain this. The FPS drops really bad on killer. It makes new legion a little rough sometimes btw. Is there anything I can do to help this at the moment? I will say! Nurse FPS isn’t so bad now, she feels much smoother.

The game on console is kinda a mess rn. I play on ps4 and the frame rate, the lag, the hit boxes, the latency and the wait times just make the game so unfun

On my Xbox One X todays patch has made the game run tremendously better.

It was good with the last patch too but todays performance increase is nothing short of amazing considering how bad this game ran just before Christmas.

I think PS4/Pro users are reporting the same, are you guys both on the original Xbox/S?

Frame rate is noticeably better on Xbox with 2.7. If you have a gen 1 Xbox One then you might want to consider getting the X or S. I got the X after my gen 1 Xbox just crapped out. Power brick was wonky and system would shut off at random, then the hard disc started to fail.

I have a PS4 Slim and the game runs much better since the new update.

From what I’ve seen, FPS appears to have gotten better.

Considering none of my other games run poorly I'm not sure I'm gonna be upgrading just to get a smooth 30fps on dbd

Survivor on X1X is easilly 60fps, yes 60fps.

It runs as well as Overwtach for example which is a 60fps game.

Killer is a little behind but not much, even playing as Doctor on maps like the Game or the Hospital map is decent now.

Killers such as Billy on older maps like Shelter Woods feels very close to 60fps as well.

DBD isn't capped at 30fps if anyone still thought it was by the way.

If there are more improvements to come then this game will of accomplished a massive turn around in performance but of course I am talking from an Xbox One X owners perspective.

Imagine how the game wil run on PS5/Xbox 2 as "early" as next year, it will be amazing for console players.

Now all we need is MOUSE AND KEYBOARD SUPPORT!

Both the Playstation and now the Xbox family have native support but it's down to developers to implement it.

Console has gotten one hell of an upgrade this patch. It's not like 60 fps all the time but it's close :)

I played a legion match on lerys yesterday, smooth as butter and that was on a regular PS4.
