PS4 Wait Times
Currently on 25 minutes of trying to get into a game as a survivor. Almost connected twice, then the game was cancelled.
I remember I was playing F13 before I switched to DBD and I remember waiting forever to get into a game.... When I started DBD, it was almost instantaneous and that was so refreshing.
How did it get so bad?
Love love love this game, have all the DLCs and tons of cosmetics. Have no reason to quit, other than not being able to play...
Just curious if there's a plan to get this back to the way it used to be or better. I'd take a 3 man game over nothing.

Yeah I remember when I was playing with a friend on ps4 back in like December it literally took 45 minutes to find a game

I don't experience this but play killer. Thats pretty instant.

Yea. It takes quite a while to find a game as a Survivor. Hell I ended up against a Killer at a much higher rank than me (which is annoying because I haven't played in a while) because it was taking so long to find a game.
It just feels like no one plays Killer anymore on PS4. Which means it takes ages for Survivors to find a game.

In recent months I’ve noticed a drop on both sides, though much more noticeable on survivors.
I think at first we had a lot of traffic because it was free but with games like apex and such, I think people got away.
It doesn’t help that it’s more common to run into (mean) swf on ps4 just because of the console’s nature, probably dissuading killers from playing more. Especially after MoM hit. Likewise, killers that purposely go out of their way to kill the fun probably drives survivors away.

That’s kinda why I like when they do events or blood hunts or release and new chapter because More people play it and you get into a game faster

I does seem to be taking longer. Not sure if it's a rank thing. I'm only rank 10 so I wouldn't think that would be it for me though.

I’m rank 13-15, it takes a little while. I don’t even bother with survivor after 9 at night.

PS4 survivors are potatoes right now. I've been on for past several hours and only had one good teammate. Most are just rushing the hook and hardly any are touching generators. It's very disheartening. Also was matched with a rank 4 killer twice, with everyone else in purple or green ranks. I'm not on often enough to stay at red, but this is not very fun. Did everyone forget how to play after the EGC patch?

What do you expect? They've probably been waiting 10-15 minutes for a match and are in need for points.

What do you expect? With the addition of MoM and the current window exploit there are almost no killers playing.

Long wait for survivor last night. Killer nearly instant. I am worried. Didn't play the event - was that any better??

Try rank 1 and you'll feel true pain. Survivors literally rush the hooks before I can leave because they can tank 3 hit before going down thanks to MoM, it's ######### unbelievable.

I skipped the entire event on PS4 because of queue times.
I played non-stop Nurse on PC because of it.

The wait times during the event still had a noticeable length.

Console queue times are literally the only reason why I bought a Gaming PC.
Might sound a bit of an exaggeration but I'm waiting for certain console games to come out and no other game has been keeping me entertained like Dead by Daylight.

Ps4 queue times are the worst. I waited for an hour for the killer to dc. Feels bad man :(

Survivors waiting long times for a lobby, and when they finally get in one, get matched with killers ranked all across the board.
Killers get instant lobbies, with survivors right around their ranking.
We don't need to be scientists to draw conclusions on this.

As quoted from here, only the Masochist plays Killer, I love playing Killer with all heart's intent, usually it takes me 20 seconds at most to load a full lobby.
