The goal here is for everyone who visits to say one trick they know that helps them in the trial. I will start with one of my favorite tricks.

If you don't want to be healed, hold SHIFT. This stops teammates from healing you in the injured and dying states. No longer will you be healed at the wrong time!

You can crouch over Hags traps and they won't trigger. If saving someone from the hook vs hag, crouch to it (don't run). If being saved, hold crouch starting when they begin the unhook!

Bonus tip : Hag traps can be disarmed with flashlights.

    Don't get killed.
Don't suicide on hook against campers.
    Don't disconnect for no reasons.
Don't hesitate to drop pallets. Most of my hits, as killers, are due to people not daring to drop the pallet because they want to "optimize" the drop, which leads to an easy hit for me, 10 meters later.

No but really: Hate playing against Trapper, Hag, and the endless Hex Ruin at ranks 12 and under? INTRODUCING SMALL GAME. IT'S LIKE EASY MODE - FOR EASY MODE!

Stay calm and stay still. Running targets are more apt to be noticed. Learning not to move is the hardest lesson.

    - Hiding in corners/confined spaces will not, and I repeat, will NOT always work! It may serve you well every now and then, but that tom-foolery won't always make the cut against an observant killer.
    - Do not enter the basement when the killer is close by and it's in the Killer Shack. The grass surrounding the shack will move whenever someone is moving in the basement.

Two tips I wish I knew from the get-go. :)

To survive, sometimes you need to know your priorities. And teammates won’t always understand; But as Ash Pannell said in a Dev Diary: “...at the end of the day; It’s all about you.”

(What Ash says after this statement really shines for me. Playing as an individual can offer an interesting dynamic)
