Coming from another topic, though it just regarded DBD as a board game, it made me wonder what board games (if you play them) do you play? did you have a favourite child hood board game?

So with Mr Mushwin we play scrabble (though he wins at it) a game called outburst, trivial persuit and sometimes pictionary (which i win at hehe)

When i was a kid i loved he old operation, atmosphere, mouse trap and the game jumanji...though mouse trap half the time it never worked lol...oh and a game called mastermind

    I enjoy Sequence, Battleship and, when I am feeling like I need a long, drawn out game, Monopoly. I also play Magic the Gathering though that is more of a card game.

    Im a big fan of board games. I would love to see a DBD boardgame even though i doubt it will be possible to transfer it to the table in the way we enjoy playing it.

    The ones i really enjoy playing with my friends:

    1. Descent: Journeys in the Dark (2nd Edition)
    2. Robinson Crusoe, Adventures on the Cursed Island
    3. Scythe
    4. Bang! (the card game)
    5. Mysterium
    6. Mansions of Madness
    7. Colt Express

    1. Sheriff of Nottingham, I love bluff based games and its haggling brings out the best out of most people, unlike social deduction games sadly. I really tried making Secret Hitler or Mafia work but many players will just call others stupid just for the sake of making them feel bad;
    2. 7 Wonders, I also love card games and its draft system is really something I was looking for in a game before I had the chance to play it;
    3. Bang!, card game with bluff elements depending on how you're playing it;
    4. Takenoko, very simple and cute yet enthralling game because of the planning sometimes required;
    5. Race for the Galaxy, quite a complex game I'm still learning, enjoying it a lot thought;
    6. Love Letter, very quick bluff based game similiar to Coup;
    7. Gizmos, very cool chain reaction kind of game, with a bit of planning you can make incredible plays;
    8. Codenames.

    One of my recent favorites has been Lanterns. It's a tile-laying and set-collecting game that I've only been able to play a few times, but the tiles are pretty and the game is very chill.
