Toxic Content Creators

I will name of fun two examples:
Ochido and Noob3.

I think that it is youtubers like this that encourage the incredibly toxic play style that every killer despises and complains about. But what do you guys think? I don't have many pennies to pour into this pot of discussion but it is something I am curious to learn about.

They popularized the toxic environment of today. So many fanbois wanted to be just like their wanna-be gods. You never see how badly they get wrecked, only the good parts. One reason I refuse to watch montages and other videos of that nature. They never show how many matches it took to pull off that one slick move. The amount of glitch and bug abuse they posted was disgusting as well. I don't understand how they could not have been banned everytime they posted a video. They all have it in them.

It isn't quite as toxic as it was there for a while. I don't know about high Ranks right now though, playing in the middle myself. I just don't see it as much now though it is still present.

They encourage that how they play should be the norm,

I definitely think they encourage toxicity amongst the survivor community. They do some funny videos but again the game lets good toxic survivors to be toxic well. It does take some skill to play toxic but when they play bad it's a disgrace and should be embarrassed for no being any use towards team objectives.

Ochido is the most toxic player in dbd. Noob is toxic, but nothing like Ochido where him and his swf only bully and escape and t-bag at the gates this is why I want flashlights nerfed same with d-strike because of Ochido. I love his montages, but when he does gameplay for survivor I get mad at it because it ruins the game and he said in a killer video that he loves DS because it makes the game "fun". Noob isn't as toxic as Ochido, but he's still toxic, but nothing compared to Ochido.

Noob3 seems to actually be trying to make a turn around with a more objective-based focus. Ochido just seems... I don't know. He acts like he's on a pedestal above everyone else with his commentary.

I like Noob, I occasionaly watch his streams from time to time, but i can't stand ochido at all. I don't want to hear a screaming walrus saying too EZ whenever he goes against Rank 20 killers.

Noob3 isnt as bad anymore. His streams are full of fails, so I guess he is more "human" now. But on the other hand I only just started watching him, because I never had a reason to before since I know he used to be very toxic, and that is not my gamestyle so I never had an interest in watching him. And I saw one glimpse of Ochido in a HybridPanda video and knew I would never watch him, so I have no thoughts there cuz I never watched a full game with him. 

But then again, I am a hardcore Puppers fan, and besides toxic quentin, he's not that bad

But just how much influence do you think these content creators hold? Or perhaps we should be asking if it's the content they produce that makes them so influential. I've never watched Puppers unfortunately. Though I might look into his videos.

I agree with the whole view on Ochido, and the point that Noob is trying to change has already been made. But there are other DBD content creators who aren't toxic. Tyde comes to mind, and even Monte and Puppers. I've aslo heard of a small YouTube who used to do Shrine of Secrets builds but had to stop when the shrine was taken down.

Tyde is one I've watched for a long time, even before I started playing. But that is why I didn't bring him up, because he isn't a toxic player like the more well known ones. Though I sincerely hope all can be returned to normal soon. And with the changes, the content, I feel like it's going to be a very active time of year.

Rude is one I've watched for a long time, even before I started playing. But that is why I didn't bring him up, because he isn't a toxic player like the more well known ones. Though I sincerely hope all can be returned to normal soon. And with the changes, the content, I feel like it's going to be a very active time of year.

I guess you make a good point. Those toxic content creators aren't going anywhere for a while though. Let's face it, unless the entire community screams for them to stop, they'll keep going.
