it has been 2 days and yet no update on it.

    There probably won't be an update till Monday when they come back to work. Also they have to get responses from the winners to ensure they qualify before announcing them.

    sounds fair but why didn't they announce that they would take a break till Monday to tell us who won?

    Well usually they don't announce over the weekends and the last break they did the same thing.
