Pig Vs Legion Add-ons

Who do think has the worst or most useless add-ons, Pig or Legion?

I believe for legion to have the worst/most useless add-ons

My personal list of worst/useless add-ons for Legion (not in any order)

  1. Fuming mix tape(I dont find it helpful or useful to see gen progress while in FF)(I have seen people who like the add-on and find it helpful)
  2. Stab wounds study(DW doesnt go down in Terror radius or while mending)(useless now)
  3. Cooldown add-ons for FF (unless stacked together/using more then one of them)
  4. Filthy and Nasty Blade (few more seconds for mending is not good to me)
  5. All add-ons that increase Killer Instinct detection range
  6. All legion pin add-ons (why must you hit a survivor once more after applying DW)
  7. All Ruler add-ons (FF no longer damaging people, getting your power back faster is pointless and to many ways to lose your power now)
  8. Franks Mix tape (takes to many hits to down someone with it now)(cant see DW timer anymore)

Add-ons I find worthless or not good for Pig (not in any order)

  1. Amanda's Letter (to many negatives for such a small positive) (though I have seen players use the add-on and do very well with it)
  2. Rule Set No.2 (should be basekit)(50/50 chance if its useful)
  3. Amanda's Secret (the pig worst add-on and top worst add-on for all killers, nothing redeemable about it)
  4. All add-ons that effect the jigsaw box skill checks (jigsaw boxes skill checks are easy to hit)(never good in any situation)
  5. All add-ons that cause status effect (survivors just wont heal or just cant use exhaustion perk for the time being while having the RBT and as pig you shouldnt be chasing them anyway)(hemorrhage one is just terrible)(blindness is good with specific builds)
  6. Shattered syringe (not strong enough to warrant having its own add-on slot)(I would just use the "video tape" add-on if I want this effect as a side bonus)

I will say that Legion's Pin add-ons (except for Iridescent) as they currently are are suuuper trash, but they're also apparently getting buffed so that you don't need to nail the second hit on Feral Frenzy to apply the debuff, so I guess that's something. Can't really speak beyond that for the rest, as I don't really play Legion.

As for Pig, you've pretty much nailed every bad add-on for her from my point of view. Someone did make a decent point that Last Will is now a decent bit worse thanks to the Pig change, as you now have a non-negligible chance of having the perk go to thanks to her recent nerf. I wouldn't put it on this list persay, but it's still a shame.

FF damages it just doesn't down. Ruler/Duration are very important to new Legion.

    Pig's good add-ons:

    • Tampered Timer (puts more pressure on the Survivor)
    • Crate of Gears (only decent because of Tampered Timer combo)
    • Amanda's Letter (despite its massively unjustified downside, I still find it powerful)

    Legion's good add-ons:

    • Iridescent Button (obvious)
    • Cold Dirt/Joey's Mix Tape (less effective now, but still work... I guess, but they have to be together)

In Pig's case, she suffers from add-ons that are worthless and add-ons that should be base for her and are not worth their rarity (Rules Set no 2), as you said. Legion, on the other hand, has completely useless add-ons and others that even hinder you further (the new pin add-ons, for instance).

So, interestingly, both have a single powerful add-on combo, a single nice ultra rare add-on, and a bunch of situational/unnoticeable minor add-ons. I think its a tie.

@Bbbrian2013 Feral frenzy doesn't damage Deep Wounds at all, unless your using franks mix tape

I agree that some of their addons are weak ah and don't encourage player to use them.

@TAG I saw that on their stream they might buff/change the pin add-ons. Though it didnt sound like a 100% for sure thing and even then doesn't seem like it will be anytime soon.

I really like the "Last Will" add-on a lot even with the new endgame. Just nice to have another trap to use/waste

Amanda's Letter is possibly my favourite add-on in the game. It's great.

@SpacingLlamas It does put multiple people into injured in a few seconds though.

@Bbbrian2013 Are you talking about feral frenzy? Your right if you are talking about that, but Im just talking about their add-ons not the power itself.

@drekin7979 I think its a good add-on for what its meant to do (show survivors in 12m range while crouched), but its negatives are just so hurtful for pig. Less jigsaw boxes and Rbt's as if they weren't bad enough (and dependent of rng in its own weird way). Take away the negative's and its perfect, maybe even add combat straps on to it or faster crouch speed

I played around a bit with Amanda's Letter today. It worked pretty well, but only because I was against literal potatoes who decided not to get gens done at all.

Its effect is nice, but losing nearly all of your ability to stall for it is not worth it even slightly, especially considering to make consistent use of it you're basically becoming Nurse-speed without the blinking.

Wraith has similar add ons with no downside, and he has increased move speed with it, it would not be broken to remove the downside on this ULTRA RARE add on.

I'll still use Last Will because I have a lot to spare, and it will still help in keeping the stall game going. Just sucks that it the chances of it going to waste went up some amount.

I won't focus as much on Legions addons as the devs already acknowledged that a bunch of them aren't as good as they should be and are being worked on.

    1. Amanda's Letter (to many negatives for such a small positive) (though I have seen players use the add-on and do very well with it)

This addon doesn't even deserve to have the negative attached to it. Just take off the reduced traps and it will be a good addon.

    1. Rule Set No.2 (should be basekit)(50/50 chance if its useful)

    Agreed. Should be base kit.

    1. Amanda's Secret (the pig worst add-on and top worst add-on for all killers, nothing redeemable about it)

    Yeah it's pretty garbage

    1. All add-ons that effect the jigsaw box skill checks (jigsaw boxes skill checks are easy to hit)(never good in any situation)

Agreed. These addons are pretty pointless as skill checks are too easy. They need a complete overhaul.

    1. All add-ons that cause status effect (survivors just wont heal or just cant use exhaustion perk for the time being while having the RBT and as pig you shouldnt be chasing them anyway)(hemorrhage one is just terrible)(blindness is good with specific builds)

I actually don't mind these ones as much. That said, Blindness NEEDS TO AFFECT BOXES. I don't know why they thought that would be too severe, it isn't.

    1. Shattered syringe (not strong enough to warrant having its own add-on slot)(I would just use the "video tape" add-on if I want this effect as a side bonus)

    Something different would be nice.

Along with this note of addons, The Pig also need her crouch view point raised to match her actual height and to either remove the roar on her ambush or put it at the very end of it as the sound ruins a lot of its mind game potential.

If she got all these things fixed she would actually be looking pretty decent.

It's the year of the pig so I hope Amanda really gets a good look at soon to fix her up.

@Peanits @not_Queen @Patricia These have been some pretty important things The Pig has been needing since her release if y'all have the chance to bring them up at one of your meetings. I know you have Freddy coming up but just for down the road after him when y'all get the chance since I know you were gonna be looking at her trap changes you wanted to do soon anyway. Thanks!

    @Blueberry

I would remove the reduced jigsaw boxes along with the reduced RBT's for Amanda's Letter. Without "combat straps" or "video tape" add-ons, Amanda's Letter wont that good

I think blindness affecting boxes would be too strong. Its really map dependent whether not it would be too strong. Some maps are too big or too confusing you wouldn't know where to look for the boxes (Ex. Plague new map is way to big). Also taking into consideration of newer players.

Otherwise I fully agree with what you said, especially crouch view raised and changing when her roar activates. Perhaps also increasing her crouch speed or make it an add-on

    @TAG

Yeah I already have had a few games with 1 or 2 traps left and the gen's were all finished. Still like "Last will" since at least every game(or every other game) from what I seen, at least two survivors get their traps off with the first box they search.
