Hooks are too close to each other and are everywhere.

Makes me not want to wiggle because I'm always seconds away from a hook. I will always wiggle but it's just useless 99% of the time.

I have to politely disagree AshleyWB

I just think they went way too far with making it easy for killers to get survivors on hooks. Like killers can have 3 hooks in one really small area and you're pretty much screwed once you get down.

I just think killers don't need so much. 97% of the time they can reach a hook but having a million hooks doesn't make it much easier to play killer.

This is why positioning and not running aimlessly around is useful when you play (not saying you do just saying generally)

You also have your offerings to reduce hooks, toolkits and saboteur perk to counter it.

But it's rng means a hook can be hidden around every corner potentially and survivors shouldn't have to survey the map to find somewhere where they have a chance of wiggling free once downed. The change in hooks was intended as a buff but i think there are other changes which could be done to killer to make it more fun to play as.

Sorry Ash, I don't really see this as an issue. Apologies.

Having so many hooks is anti-gameplay. Buffs should be on the killers themselves not on hooks, killers can easily down the survivor once they wiggle free. Hook balance changes don't really make killer easier to play. Other killer buffs needed. I think it should take more wiggle time to wiggle free but slightly less hooks for killer.

Nope not sold mate, sorry - I have some games where I get hooked quick, some where I just get hooked at wiggle and some where I wiggle off - haven't seen a continuing trend in any of these im afraid

Whant an accurate daya, I'm proud of you!

And do you need another chance to survive after looping the killer for 3 gens, DS'in him, looping him for another 1-2 gens, then getting downed finally?

It's just pure RNG. Lot of times I'm hunting for a hook because they are clustered in certain areas. Usually there's one close by, but I've held off downing someone because I didn't see any. Not my fault that Survivors aren't paying attention to their surroundings and trying to avoid hooks.

Ds needs a serious nerf. All survivors shouldnt be punished because of how string ds is. I never use it. You shouldn't have to be good at looping to be a good survivor. Looping isn't fun. It's that when you get hooked a second away from another hooked survivor killers camp the two hooks which is anti gameplay and encourages killers to play dirty.

Anyway I'm probably talking rubbish anyway I just hate hook spawn points and when hooks are everywhere it's not fun because you are not given a chance to break free. Getting downed is a part of the game, it happens. A survivor who gets down shouldn't be seen as trash, like I try not to loop and play differently and it's all I hear, u get down you need to stop using ds and looping. I do none of that nerf the lot or buff the killer to cope better in these situations.

It's just random. Sometimes you have 3 hooks right next to eachother, and sometimes you just know the survivor will wiggle free and you curse at yourself for not having iron grasp in your build :)

Hooks are not there to be a crutch to killers. It's like yesterday, I was spawned near the basement and plunders showed me the basement chest and the 2 others were spawned right outside on each side of the killer shack. Or when you run 3 totems and they are all on the same place.

It's random. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you dont. One of the things that makes it fun.
