Bond, Empathy, & Aftercare 101
Introduction:
As a survivor, you have the choice of 3 aura perks with each of them being unique in their own way.
Bond gives you the ability to see all survivors within a certain range.
Empathy gives you the ability to see all injured or dying survivors within an unlimited range (I know 128 meters isn't infinite, but you minus well say it is).
Aftercare gives you the potential to see all survivors within an unlimited range, but you have to build it up over time.
While these perks are strong, we need to separate each perk into its own territory. We can do this by buffing them and making them even better!
Things in bold & italics are things that have changed.
Bond Addition:
Bond reveals the auras of all survivors within a 16/20/24 meter range. Survivors revealed by bond can also see your aura.
Buff: Survivors can see each other with Bond.
Nerf: Less aura reading range
Empathy:
Empathy reveals the auras of all injured or dying survivors within a 128 meter range. Survivors revealed by Empathy can also see your aura.
Buff: Survivors can see each other with Empathy.
Aftercare:
Start the trial with 1/2/3 survivors linked to Aftercare.
Survivors linked to Aftercare will allow you to read their aura.
Taking damage from the killer will break a random link with a survivor, but healing or unhooking a survivor will link you to that survivor.
Buff: Can see all survivors within a unlimited range at the beginning of the trial.
Can still repair broken links in this version.
Nerf: Survivors can no longer see each other with Aftercare.
Thoughts? What aura reading perk will you choose with these changes?

Bond is fine as is. If anything I'd prefer a range increase, but that's another matter.
Empathy is also fine.
Aftercare I haven't used so I'll not register an opinion.

Isnt the nerf for aftercare make it useless?

Nope, because you have infinite Bond at the beginning of the trial, but without the aura reading back. Furthermore, you can fix broken links, so overall, the buff outweighs the nerf.

101 is a referrence to a class or a lesson. This is just a buff idea.

Ah ok, just the way it was worded confused me.

I disagree with all these changes.
Especially aftercare. The point of Aftercare is you give "after" care to someone who you have unhooked. Starting with the aura is ridiculous and goes against the concept of the perk.

Yes, you are correct, the concept of Aftercare is to take care of someone after aiding them. However, as opposed to what you said, the perk STILL maintains its concept because of this: (Read the bold)
"Taking damage from the killer will break a random link with a survivor, but healing or unhooking a survivor will link you to that survivor."
For reference: The pronoun "That" in the quote above means "The survivor you aided". Therefore, you still have to restore your lost links by helping other survivors (unless you never been attacked by the killer). Since you can now see the survivor you recently aided, and if at anytime that survivor gets injured, you can now go straight to the survivor and help them once again.

I use Bond so that my teammates dont f*ck me over, if they see where I am, they can mess me up a hell of a lot easier. Just gimme more Bond range or buff Open-Handed to be useful.
Aftercare on the other hand seems really useful.

For the current state of the game, the changes to Aftercare and Empathy are too powerful.
In general, I'd like to see giving solo players more information and bringing them closer to SWF level. But that also means that killers need to receive buffs to make up for survivor buffs.
Concerning the change to Bond: 24 meters isn't useful enough. I prefer the current version.
