Proper survivor etiquette when facing the Pig

Just curious what the consensus if when you verse the Pig.
Do you 99 generators if someone has a RBT on, or do them like normal since RBT deaths are rare?
Also, if you are hooked with a trap on, do you want heals when you are rescued, or do you want to immediately head to a Jigsaw box? Does it matter is the trap is active or not?

I feel like when it first came out people thought about 99ing gens. Now it seems everyone just does them. I think the Devs intended for everyone to not complete gens if survivors had an RBT on but it hasn't worked out that way. I and many others work on gens with a RBT on.
In terms of being healed after being unhooked with a RBT on it depends on if the timers had already started and how much time is left.
If it hasn't started or just started then I'd wait for the heal.
Otherwise I'm trying to get the thing off.

People already had plenty of time to remove their beartraps before, and unless someone pops a gen the nanosecond a hat gets put on, they have even more time now. Just pop the gen.
If its a safe unhook and the killer is chasing someone else I go for the heal and most other people I've seen also go for the heal.

It all depends wether it has started the timer or not.
best case scenario you would want to do 4 gens separately, 3 since 1 would be chased by the killer ofc. And as soon as 1 pop you go to take the damn thing off.

I dont care about Gens being popped. It is smarter to do the Gen than to wait for one guy and his RBT.
When I get unhooked, I want to get healed. Chances are higher that I will get caught by the Pig and downed again than that my Head will pop because of the RBT. And if I get downed again with an activated Beartrap, I am on my Deathhook and it is more likely that my Head will pop, and I will 100% not be able to get healed after the second Unhook.
But sometimes I have the feeling that once you have a RBT on your head (active or not) you will not get healed at all.

Most of the time people just pop gens. You can fairly easily get the RBT off before the timer goes, unless you have significantly bad luck. At best it's a tool to keep one Survivor off of gens for a time. Frequently the Killer will even bypass you to look or chase another Survivor as well because they know you aren't going to be doing much but look for the key. Some chase, but most of the ones I face do not.
As far as healing goes... if you have We'll Make It, I normally will take a heal or give one if they need it. Having that extra hit of health can keep you alive at times, and it helps once you've gotten the RBT off as well since you can get right back into the match. Without it, I generally don't bother. Just get that RBT off and you can then look for someone to help you afterwards.

From a pig perspective, the best play for survivors would be 99ing gens when traps have been applied. They rarely pop (1 kill in 10-20% of games), but they are free wins if they do. If the pig doesn't return to the hook, heal up after unhooking, since injured survivors at boxes are usually free downs. Only go straight for boxes, if the timer has been ticking or the Pig is chasing the unhooker. Selfcaring without any bonuses could lead to death later.

If there is one survivor and they just got off the hook I would probably just 99, problem is leaving a gen like that will get it kicked if the killer happens upon it and then when you come back it regressed to near nothing.
If there is one survivor with RBT and they've been off the hook for a couple minutes, I would complete the gens.
If there is more than 2+ survivors with inactive RBT, I would definitely just 99 them until one got theirs off.
If your trap is not active or you are confident you can make the boxes easy enough, always take the heal. If it is active it is their call if they want the heal or not. If it is fast like a we'll make it, they should take it.

Just finish the gen. They'll have time. From a Pig main perspective, you should get healed. I can't tell you how many times I'd be in a chase, find someone at a box, break off to down them, and resume the chase. I don't actively hunt those with traps on their heads, but I have no qualms about downing them again.

I don't 99 gens and I don't see others doing it. If I unhook a fresh RBT I try and heal them, but if they don't want it I just let them be. Personally, if the timer just started I take a heal depending on how many boxes there are to check or if its a huge map I might take my chances. I do this because I almost always run back into the pig getting the trap off. Yesterday I ran a claudette build (not immersed) that was 3 perks for healing, empathy, we'll make it, and botany. My heal was super fast, but some people wouldn't let me heal them even with a timer just started. I ended up being the only one to make it out of Gideon's because the pig kept checking boxes and people were one hit down.

Just do the gens. If you 99 them then you just give the killer a chance to kick them and you wasted time. It's better to pop them fast so that she has less opportunity to put on one you and it becomes active.
I will rush gens with a trap on my head. The only times you want to focus hard on boxes is if she uses Tamper Timer with either extra boxes or longer search add-ons.

It is common practice to follow the pig while crouched to create a big conga line. Ideally the Pig will not notice you until all 4 survivors have joined in.

Nah, 99ing is asking to lose. Just finish the gens ASAP and let the guy take the beartrap off. If you want to help go loop the killer or something.
The real way to fight pig is to use Urban Evasion and fall in when you notice her sneaking by.

Do them like normal. 99 is generally really stupid unless 3 people have an unactive trap on.
