How effective are Killer camping/tunneling punishments?

    Literally has no effect on camping. The killers I see camp universally run this perk.

    It's lovely waiting 10 minutes to get into a match just to get tunneled and camped.

    PS4 killers are a joke.

    How to punish camping and tunneling?

    If the killer is constantly camping and tunneling you we from Hag& Survivors Care advice you to try out Kindred to inform your buddies of the camping killer. Really handy.

    DS counters direct tunneling (after the unhook don't run straight into the killer aka watch where you are running)

    Borrowed Time works also great to rescue a camped survivor, especially when paired with a stacked MoM.

    Here's how they get punished.

    So, first of all, if a killer stays in a hooked person's range for too long, then they will start losing points towards they're Chaser emblem. Not to mention, with the lack of chasing they won't be getting too much anyway.

    Camping doesn't have an effect on bp gain and bp score doesn't tie into ranks or pips. The camping punishment is linked to the chaser emblem score. Camping long term causes severe decay in the chaser emblem. There is not bp or emblem penalty for tunneling as tunneling is a strategy that some killers are better suited for when certain perk builds are used.

    Camping only has one build that really gives a reason to do it. There is also Leatherface who can be effective played regularly, but just tends to be at an advantage when camping. You're gonna see camping during endgame scenarios as there is no real justification to run all over the place. Though you should also be aware that you could just as easily be proxy camped by a killer who will incur little to no decay in their chaser emblem as the penalty is distance dependent.

    Luckily for me those "punishments" are not effective at all. I enjoy it when I break a survivor spirit and disconects on second hook after all their friends tried to save them at the same time for about a minute. So funny
