How Legion works

So I've been wondering how the Legion technically works.

After discussion I've had with a friend about how the legion work for the entity. Granted I've never been one who's had the impression that the Legion with fused into one body it's never made sense to me as we all have different body types and skin tones. It also seems to be what they were more heavily implying during the creation of the Legion stream

(For example despite both being the male variation of the legion Joey is clearly more well built than Frank is)

I've always been under the impression that they were basically for individual people who would just the alternate between who goes to the trial however something then occurred to me what the hell do the other three do whilst one is out hunting survivors.

Say Joey goes out to cut down some survivor in Gideon's meat plant.

Are Frank, Julie and Susie just sitting on a bench somewhere bored playing cards?

There are near infinite amounts of trials going on t any given time in the Entity's realm. I believe that the Entity just chooses one of the Legion for one trial, and the others for different trials. Maybe with a few short breaks in between to regroup.

They could take part in separate trials or together as a group in a single trial. There is also the possibility that the Entity took each of them from the real world and forced them into a single body. A forced gestalt. When a trial is given to them either the Entity picks one to come to the forefront of both the mind and body. Or they actively choose between themselves mentally and the body changes accordingly.

I believe the Entity uses the coding for one character (the chosen character) and inserts that code into the rest of the match the game is loading. From there the Entity takes all the bits of code that loaded and displays it visually for us to interact with leaving the code for the characters not in the match floating on BHVRs side.

    I mean MAGIC!....he uses magic.

Its likely that the entity uses every member The Legion in trials. Think of it as a food thing. The entity likes food and wants more of it at one time. Killers supply food. Susie might be sitting doing nothing while Frank, Jules, and Joe are killing but thats probably while she's waiting for the next batch of survivors. From what we know about the entity it would NOT make sense to assume that only one member gets used at a time. The Entity is looked at as a hungry beast. The procedurals are a killing ground that is designed to make food and therefor, it would only make sense that the entity put all four to killing.

However, we know that killers get special treatment based off of their behavior. There is no evidence of torture on any member of the legion which means they behaved. This means they likely get to regroup and talk to each other occasionally. They are a group, after all.

It's entity magic. The entity's realm has no sense of time except within a trial, the 1st dimension of the entities realm. In the 2nd dimension (the campfire) time has no meaning but how long until a survivor falls asleep and starts their next trial. The 3rd realm, the spirit world, has no concept of time or space either, shown by the nurses blink, the ability to pierce the spirit world to both warp time and location to teleport short distances. This is also where the trial truly takes place, and where the entity dwells. Because of the 3rd dimension of the entities world having no concept of time and space, infinite trials can be held in the same point of time.

I would imagine they are each sent to a different trial at the same time. Since the devs missed a great opportunity to have a killer who actually has group dynamics built into their power, I would assume that the Legion do their trials separately.

Meaning while one group of survivors are off facing Julie, another group would be facing Lee. As a example.
