That was such a weird trailer lol I literally just laughed my head off at the cashier.
I would love a new freddy trailer which literally starts with the cashier at the end of this trailer going to the dream world.

This is a weird trailer. Completely different than any other trailers previously. It's missing the Charme and atmosphere of DbD imo, feels like just another generic movie trailer.

Cashier was a potato. That check-out lane is the safest loop in the store.
Seriously, though, that was some gorgeous graphics work. Cashier looked real at first! Excited to see what the Ghost has in store for us.

I'm comparing this trailer to the first title screen cutscene in my head, which makes me go wow.

The intro video to DbD always made me wish there was a series of shorts or something, even if they aren't accurate to the game. (Obviously, seeing a pallet dunk a killer might not be as entertaining and realistic as Meg crawling through corn fields.)

Very unusual trailer, but I like the light hearted nature of it, a nice call back to the Scream films. Also, I love that they used the actual Ghostface logo from the masks.But man, to not have Sidney and a Woodsboro map...what a missed opportunity . One thing I noticed though..in this trailer, the the DBD designed robe almost appears black, so hopefully there will be a black version in game , and hopefully the movie robe will be added at some point.

They are indeed, at least according to the stream schedule . Fully agreed that it makes zero sense. They need to be more clear on what the differences between a chapter and a paragraph are, and not confuse everyone by calling it a chapter ..when it's actually a paragraph .

well great trailer but my hype has gone waaaaay down sorry but I'm most likely not picking this up and really I feel the same if it was just Sidney and no map or killer it pointless or like @TheShape78 said a missed opportunity and it is and I'm just really bummed right now.

Fair enough. at least they have the perk name 'simple formula ', the correct Buck 120 hunting knife, the 90'scell phone, the mori with movie accurate animation , and the blade wipe. All we need is the movie robe. I heard that Funworld, who owns and makes the mask, also have rights to the knife and robe. Well, we have the knife and mask, so where's the robe ? Hopefully it gets added.
I think I see what they're doing here. This isn't a Scream chapter, but rather, it's Ghostface himself now in the realm of DBD, o based on everything I mentioned being from the movies, if we had the robe too, then this would basically be the movie version of Ghostface , just sucked out of Woodsboro, and into the world of DBD, if that makes sense.

I care and so does a lot of the community. This is NOT a chapter it’s a paragraph. Yay we get ghostface! But I’m not about to give it the title of Chapter 12 whereas the rest of the 11 chapters had a map killer and survivor this one won’t and it doesn’t deserve the title

Ash is not apart of it and if he was they’re still missing a map and therefore is not a full chapter and is more like a page rather than a chapter/paragraph... it doesn’t deserve the title “chapter 12”
