Myers’ Power vs Corn Fields

So, I’m fairly new playing the game, I got Rotten Fields while using Myers, and oh boi, it was fun not being able to use my power because Corn overpowers Evil Within

So, do you have any tips about how to play him in that situation? Should I just accept... defeat?

Also, I think it will be easier to just buff his stalking, just “ignoring the corn”, sounds cool as hell stalking them through the fields without they even noticing, while still having to deal with a huge map with no mobility

When you get better at the game the corn becomes a minor nuisance and you will track survivors in the corn like a pro. It's all about game sense and a good eye for details.

As a Myers main I hate getting the farm maps for this very reason. Plus I suffer from corn blindness often.

Somehow the Corn can "stalk" better than Myers XD

I have 1,300 hours in the game and I can't approve this.

    The corn is just bad.

I go up against a lot of killers who can find and kill me in the corn. Maybe they have better monitors or better eyesight than you, I dont know.

I also play Myers in the corn, it's tough but doable, but I'm only going against low rank survivors who probably don't know how to hide.

Yeah "corn blindness" is real but with practice you can get better at tracking. You also have good/bad days or play against specific skins that make it harder to see.

Basically time/experience will help and the rest is up to your current luck/focus.

I think I’ve dealt with this for so long I’ve adapted, if close enough you can still get partial stalk but it’s not worth it, I think it was mentioned above but stick to the clear view sites near the outer gens until tier 2 at least, by this point you have a better chance at chasing and if they do decide to go to the corn for safety you can still track and hit them like any other killer. It’s using those moments before they get to the corn that matter the most, sometimes going to high ground works but I personally avoid this because it tells them where I am and which direction I’m going, not a fan.

Most survivors can’t afford to spend the whole match in the corn because that’s not where most of the gens are, you’ll catch them off guard at some point and have chances for stalking and tier 3 regardless of if they use the corn. It’s only really a problem early match tier 1 once you get better at tracking and corralling survivors to certain areas through gen pressure.
