Replay of the match
What about allowing players to see a replay of the other player's game at the end of the match? As killer, I often lose track of survivors and it would be great to see what they did at certain points of the match. It would come in handy to both survivors and killers, and would allow them to get better. What do you guys think?

Would be interesting.

Would be cool.. hopefully this could be something they can add when dedicated servers come in.

Maybe with new Dedicated Server we could get this feature... But i think you can't always access to those replays. They could have a deadline like 1 week from the match due to too much load in the server(?) idk

@d0rian would be interesting if it could be saved as a file that could be downloaded.. then reloaded into the game through a replay function.
That way tournaments, contests.. etc. could be saved and people could review the games on their local machines from different perspectives.

Fair enough

Actually, replay files require basically no data at all, meaning the load would be minimal. They are just recordings of the initial RNG, player positions and player data, and inputs from each player. This means each replay would be mere kilobytes big, but it would also mean that an update to the game would render each recording un-replayable because it would desync because of the new features that got added.

Can we revisit this thread? This is a great idea.
