Babysitting

Ok before I start to rant I just wanna say how much of a fan I am of this game and happy that it exist back to the topic at hand I am tired of killers who babysit the hooks when there's a Survivor on it gives the person no choice to escape and sometimes the killer automatically grab the Survivor yes it's part of the game but I think it's only fair that the sacrifice ritual doesn't begin until the Killer is a certain meter away from the hook

This. Suggestion. Has. Come. Up. A. Million. Times.

Was tested too, actually. Didn't work, was scrapped. Hard camping is very rare. The few times when it happens to you, you should be able to deal with.

Could easily fix the issues. If survivor is within say 40 meters, progression is normal. If killer is within 20 meters, and survivor is not within 40 meters, progression halts. This way, killer doesn't have to camp the hook, survivors can't abuse because their range is wider than the killer's. In a way killers could possibly abuse this by staying right outside the range and waiting for a survivor, or knowing if a survivor is in the area by the progression continuing as normal when it should be halted normally, but the numbers or other things could be adjusted to give both killers and survivors a fair chance. I'd personally like there to also be a penalty to survivors farming people off hooks in the killer's face. Nothing pisses me off more than being unhooked right in front of him, and then getting right back on it.

LOL. Ease down man, it's obvious OP is a new player, and a new forum member. So new that "babysitting" is used instead of the common word we all use for what's being described.

But yes. There's a search function you can use to read a lot of previous discussions regarding your concern.

You will find them under the word "camping"

I actually like "babysitting". Can we establish this as the new term instead of "camping"?

It's more appropriate honestly. Cause most Survivors are a bunch of babies.

This is my first time even coming across this website so how am I supposed to know the killer babysitting was already discussed and tested people will keep asking until they figure it out themselves or a member of this page acknowledges that this discussion was already made so come on people get your head outta your ass and think before you speak

Yes there is a search bar that could've been use but how am I or any new member that signs up on this page going to know how to look up old conversations that can be from a year ago, ######### I didn't even know how to make a post until I clicked on ever link I seen lol

That's why you should go to the FAQ and Rules section anytime you sign up for a forum.

Everyone has been through this, this is why you would get the same exact responses if you were to go to any other forum. We've all been in your position most likely in our first forum we ever used, and I'm sure many still don't do it.

Take this as your introduction to using a forum online. We're definitely a bunch of asses, but we're lovable asses. Welcome to the family lmao
