Lightweight Buff Idea
So it still has the same effects but it gains a second effect.
- Scratch Marks stay visible 1/2/3 seconds less than normal.
- Grunts and noises made when jumping from high places are reduced by 30/40/50%
Give me some thoughts and ideas on how you’d buffed Lightweight.

That’s a good idea, I can’t think of one better tbh, that could be used got some awesome mindgames in Haddonfield.

Exactly, like when you’re hiding outside on the 2nd floor of the strode house and the killer comes up there. Once they hear someone grunting they know someone just jumped. It could really help if you’re trying to be stealthy.

I personally think instead of reduction from drops, that should be put on Iron will or Calm Spirit, but for lightweight your footsteps while crouched/walking/running are reduced by 30/40/50%, I think that would be a better buff IMO :)

The problem with adding it to Iron Will is Iron Will is already a pretty strong perk so I can’t see it Iron Will getting buffed. Adding it to Calm Spirit would be cool but I feel like Lightweight could use it more just because it of its balance state. It’s rarely ever used.

Shouldn't that ability go to balanced landing?
I agree with Victory that footstep noise should be affected, not drops.

Lightweight is actually a pretty good perk right now. It's just underrated. I'd rather put the effect on calm spirit instead.

It just doesn’t feel like it’s worth running when compared to other perks. If it did something else I feel like you’d get much more use out of it.

I think Lightweight should also reduce the sound of running and walking footsteps.
Similarly how Predator should also increase the sound of running and walking footsteps.

Perks are strategy based, it’d make strategy too easy on a survivor level to put 2 perks together. Just sounds like balanced landing combined with lightweight without the speed bonus. You may as well just ask for a 5th perk spot in load outs.

I think it actually fits quite nicely on Lightweight. Afterall, if your light, youd naturally make less noise from falling. Which one are you going to hear if dropped off the 2nd story, a balloon or a bowling ball?

Because it's a hidden power. You can't see the effects in-game.

@Milo I know WHY. But that doesn't change the fact that it does it's job and it does it well. So from a balance perspective it doesn't need any major buffs.
It might be cool to let someone with the perk see scratchmarks through. It's not very useful but it serves to do what you say and see the effects for yourself.

I love Lightweight with my Meg's Sprint Burst and Quick and Quiet, so more quiet landing would really be awesome! :D Balanced Landing and Calm Spirit can fit this too.

This is a good buff, because if you were heavy, you'll impact the ground harder than you were lighter.

From this thread we can see that stealth perks need some tuning to be more useful. they're not as toxic or powerful as some other perks, so why not buff them?

It's less about stealth perks being too weak or more to do with second chance perks being too strong and maps not being designed to facilitate stealth well.

Yeah right now since the sounds or so botched you can lose a killer so easily... ya dont even need iron will... so yeah until sounds are fixed light weight is quite decent

the idea is pretty nice, I always wished Iron Will or Calm Spirit would decrease the amount of grunts you make from falls

I thouvht Lightweight reduced the sound of footsteps when I first started playing, why not add that to the current effects?

I'd like it, but only AFTER reworking the ######### out of Haddonfield. That map's broken enough without STEALTHY balanced landings off the houses.
