Ranking rework/update?

I feel like I read or saw somewhere that the ranks were getting overhauled or something. If I am misinformed or whatever, no worries. If they are getting reworked though, would someone be able to either provide or link details on the update? Cheers.

    It was during the 3 year stream which they showed the roadmap the ranking system is getting a complete overhaul as well as ranked rewards and the way they made it sound is each killer will have a different rank so you can be rank 1 billy but rank 20 nurse which if that is the case thats awesome but yeah 6 months my dude.
