The Tutorial needs some serious reworking

Let's be frank: rank 20's aren't useful for anything. My opinion is that the tutorial didn't help them. The ONE singular time that a pallet is ever used in the tutorial is for the killer side and the game doesn't even acknowledge it. Its just "Oh well, you got stunned. Break that move on". Rank 20's don't know how to loop, they don't know how to cope with being injured, and they certainly don't understand the intricacies of the game with things like scratch marks. We need something else now: a guiding system.

Let me explain. Remember when Freddy came out and everyone below rank 10 rage quit because they didn't know how to play against him? That affected the survival rates. The devs made a quick response to that: nerf Freddy so newcomers can survive. If there had been something, anything, in the loading screen that had told them what skill checks were and how to get out of the Dreamworld, they would've had a much better time. But there isn't anything like that right now and it's caused a variety of problems.

So here's a solution: ranks 13~20 have a hint indicater to tell them what to do. I'm not saying it should be chase benefit like, "Go left, he double backed," but more like, "There isn't a generator or person within 30 meters of you. Stop hiding and do the objective." With Freddy it could tell them to miss skill checks, Michael/Pig/Ghostface/Wraith could say to look around your screen a lot, and with Trapper to look at the ground. Just basic hints so they know what they're doing.

Please. The sooner we get rid of the knowlege disparity, the sooner we get rid of exaggerated kill counts.

I got to rank 11 and I still don't know how to loop, I just stealth everywhere and lose killers midchase by crouching at random in grass or next to crates.

I think every old killer and every new killer, needs their own short but personal tutorial on how to play them. And of course a better basic tutorial on how to play the game in general

Tutorial is fine. Shows the very basics and that's all it should show.

Lol; considering there never even used to be a tutorial and players had to learn as they go, I think the tutorial is just fine as it is. They shouldn’t have to hand absolutely everything on a plate.

From your post, you sound lile a player that loops and uses pallets, and gets a little salty if a survivor doesn’t know how to do the same. You just can’t win everry match, and unless people keep playing, they won’t get better. There’s more skill to the game than just using pallets and looping too. There’s countless ways of losing a killer/winning a chase.
