Can someone explain what a Demigorgon is so I have context for my wild speculation?
Given recent twitter news, how would Stranger Things even work in DBD?

Well a Demogorgon is a demon prince from the D&D universe. The kids in Stranger Things name the creature that because they play D&D.
Here is the Stranger Things "demogorgon":

What would it’s potential powers be?

BHVR already said they want to stay away from "monster" killers.
Who knows for the future though.

Look it up. It's in DnD/Pathfinder if you're interested.

Keep in mind that the creature itself varies greatly from D&D, TV/game and even in books. So the basic understanding is its a powerful Demon Prince, typically bend on destruction or control. Its appearance and abilities are inconsistent.

WHAT IS THAT THING!??! OH MY GOD!

It looks like the result of a genetic experiment involving a random flower, a carnivorous plant, and a human.
Disclaimer: This is not what it actually is in the series.

It's monstrous but does have a very humanoid body structure. I doubt there's gonna be a crossover but in theory it COULD work without violating the no-monster policy.

Also, the Demogorgon travelled through rifts between our world and The Upside Down, a corrupt dark version of our world. It also has acute blood tracking abilities. Besides that it didn't have any real powers that I recall.

The Demogorgan isn't the result of an genetic experiment. It's orgins are unknown other then it's presumed to be an alien species that has been enslaved by an extra-dimensional powerful being known as the Mind Flayer.
Hell now that I think about it, the Mind Flayer and DbD's Entity are very similar.

I know. I watched Stranger Things too. I meant it looks like it.

Most likely we will get human survivors not this thing

With "no monster killer" they meant no non-humanoid killers, the Demogorgon from Stranger Things is fairly humanoid in shape, and the head can be animated fairly easily. So it's not that far fetched

Oh, that one is 100% confirmed to be one of this year's new chapters

Mild spoilers ahead.
A key point of stranger things is the existence of a desolate parallel dimension: the upside down, that's where this thing is from. In the show there are sometimes rifts that open to the upside down where people can travel through, however this thing can pass through pretty much where-ever and whenever it wants. It can also smell blood across dimensions.
This is the best concept for a Stranger things chapter that I've seen: https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/85e1bv/stranger_things_dlc/

Well, it's bipedal and about 6ft, so why not!
I guess it'd be almost like Freddy's dream world. Perhaps with a few tweaks, teh Fred we know and love now, could be turned into the Stranger things chapter....
Oh, and STEVE HARRINGTON OR RIOT!!!
