Toxicity on a whole nother level
I don't know what the deal is, but it seems that the two different sides of the game really dislike each other. It's just a damn game. A really simple, based on luck, not skill, game. So just play it.

It mainly has to do with people being passionate about their own opinions. It stems from the love of this game everyone has despite its quirks.
Of couse though we get our bad apples that seek nothing but to anger one of the two sides they dislike so... thats also a thing.

I blame 3 factors.
- People can't accept that they ######### up
- Certain toxic influences were allowed to exist for too long
- game is terribly balanced and encourages cocky and toxic behavior.

A lot of people have been banned on the forums recently, too.
This behavior is not isolated to the game :D

My issue only comes from when people begin to make personal attacks on someone over the game.
I personally don't care when people get riled up as long as the focus remains on the game. The moment someone starts deflecting with personal comments or starts attacking the person rather than their argument, that's when it becomes a problem.
People seem to conflate shattering their argument to pieces and trying to insult someone. If you come to the forums, expect people to be brutally honest and point out when you're wrong; it's happened to me and I have had to admit when I'm incorrect myself.
Just try to remember that just because someone disagrees with you (speaking in general terms) or thinks your opinion is ill-conceived doesn't mean that person dislikes you. Sometimes I know my approach can be confrontational, and I've received warnings on other forums sites before, and I've had multiple stints with a few users, but I honestly don't hold any contempt or hatred for anyone here.
