Question about upcoming DS change (can a dev answer?)
I know they want DS to just hold the Killer in place for a few seconds instead of "Eff you, I get away for free." Which is good. But they've never specified one thing: can the Killer still look around once they've been frozen in place with the upcoming new DS?
If it holds the Killer in place and you cannot look around then it'll make Flashlights insanely strong even if you have Lightborn.
If it doesn't and we can look straight up then it might be tolerable.
Can anyone give us an answer? @not_Queen

I could ask Jeff/Horvath tomorrow if you want and report the answer in here.
Tbh it's your best chance of answer, but as far as I'm concerned, the answer will VERY LIKELY be :
"We don't know yet as we're working on it"
I'll tell you if I get an answer6 -

Any updates? @Runiver1 -
The other iteration they 'might' be testing is if the killer gets DS then the killer gets a instant flashlight to blind survivors! or a mirror

I assume "animation lock" means no looking which is pretty god damn re.tarded. Because if that's what they choose to do the perk is still going to be very powerful. It'll just require the guy with DS yelling at his SWF buddies "I DS'D HIM GUYS GET THE FLASHLIGHT GET THE FLASHLIGHT!" Or they'll just run to a deadzone without any close hooks and still get away.
Pretty much.
Still better than a free escape from nowhere while nobody is around to even help with a flashlight tho0 -

In the latest dev stream they seemed to indicate that they want the Killer to not be able to look around so as to avoid a flashlight.@Runiver Can you ask them to clarify? If they go with that then that's a huge mistake and DS will remain about the same in terms of annoyance and bullshit.
I did get the confirmation about this a while ago already.
As far as I know, the current Iteration they're TESTING at the moment makes the killer unable to move the camera around during the stun, allowing an eventual flashlight save.About the macro, I missed the question but I guess I'll ask. I think they're aware of it, tho.
