[IDEA] The game must have a minimum time per game and rework of gens
This is the beginning of the 4 year. As we know how to repair gens has been an objective that has been since the beginning of the game, where at the beginning it used to be very difficult and to be a goal too ... risky, with the steps of the years I think it is becoming obsolete, because everything The world that plays the game or most players find it easy to repair even with ... ruin.
Therefore, it is a mechanic that has become very old. It should be reworked, to be more fun for the players.
Also, I think the games should have a minimum of time to last the games, because I do not believe in statistics, 12 minutes on average, from my point of view is not the average. The games last around 5-10 minutes, where the 5-6 minutes of games are rush gens games, and where the 6-10 minutes are a bit slower but still fast. Therefore, I believe that the game should have a certain time for the game.
(Clearly, this is too much, since ... the players would repair the gens and then hide ...)
Second, as we said the mechanics of repair "hold M1" and give the "space" to hit the skill do not think it is still fun, I pose idea:
- To start the repair of a gen we start with M1 (one click)
- Once we click, you do not have to leave it pressed.
- The repair time will remain the same (80 seconds / 1 sole survivor)
- Once the repair begins, mini-events will appear, alternating speeds: from slow to fast. For example: A key will appear on screen, you will have to press it at the right moment when the circle closes, the more time passes, the mini-events of pressing keys will accelerate. Which could fall 2 or 3 letters at the same time. Example: A, G, L, we will have to press it at the same time, once we enter the final repair phase, the letters will fall every 1 second, and we will have to press the appropriate key ... if we fail the key, the motor will explode and it will decay 2 tics per failure. Once we fail, the gen will be in overheating for 5 seconds.
- For console players, we could put the buttons for both PCs and consoles: A, B, Y, O and also arrow keys. Up, right, down, left.
@Peanits @Janick @not_Queen i hope u like this.

The fact its that even with a minimum time for game it wouldnt matter. For example, the minimum time is 12 minutes, survivor rush the gens, completing them in 7 minutes, due to the time requirement exit gates levers are blocked, similar to the gens when egc starts. But whats the point? Survivor can just hide wherever they want, since all gens are finished killer wont know where he could potentially find survivors hence the timer expires and the game is over.
On the more dinamic gen repairing, you need to think about console gamers...

I have proposed an idea. I hope we are discussing a topic. Clearly, there are PCs and consoles, but this one must change. It really is hard to think of a good idea to have fun.

if they ever made a side objective killer would be so freaking easy i would love it

If gens still take the same time, that doesn't change the gen rush problem. You have two options:
a) longer gen repair time
b) a 2nd objective for survivors to naturally prolong the trial
I'm obviously a fan of option b.

As I mentioned, I proposed a more dynamic repair, clearly there are console players, this could be done with the main command buttons. (A, B, Y, O) These buttons would apply to the keyboard ^^

Clearly, the repair time is the same, but I thought of something more dynamic in the repair of gens, pressing buttons, mini-events during the 80 seconds.
