Lower DS Active time
Its way too long right now to be a supposed 'Anti-tunneling' perk. Twice in one game with two different survivors I didn't even get close to tunneling, who I grabbed one working on a gen and another who I just found out in the wilderness, both of them still had DS up after I had lost sight of them for what felt like plenty of time. Its more then an anti tunneling perk, its a the killer can;t touch me for 40-60 seconds perk, Which is way too long. Please ask the devs to change this.

Just slug them, man. If they're doing a gen in your face, lunge them. They want you to grab them. DS doesn't need anymore changes. Killers just need to play around it.

Except I have no idea who has it, or the fact that its supposed to be anti-tunnel but I just got hit by it again by grabbing someone off a jigsaw box, who I again, didn't tunnel. And again, I don't even know if its still active or not. Playing around it requires me to think that maybe 60 seconds haven't passed, and I don't have time to use a stopwatch on 4 survivors to be sure, plus its wasting my time, something that I as a killer can't really do outside of one perk, Ruin.

As someone who loves current DS (as a surv obviously ;P) I think it also punishes killers who don't tunnel.
How about this change:
-if the killer hooks somebody else,DS timer goes to zero.
-if you get downed,DS timer completely stops (doesn't go down).
This would actually punish tunnelers without them being able to bypass DS by slugging.

Nowhere anywhere has it been officially stated that DS is solely an anti-tunneling perk. That's just an easy way of characterizing it because the majority of the time it triggers will be due to tunneling. The perk has been significantly nerfed as it is.
People need to stop running to the forums to cry every time they don't have a game that goes entirely their way.

I'm asking for a perk that requires no skill to activate and a minor amount of skill to trigger, that gives a free escape to a survivor if they hit a pretty easy skill check. I'm asking for what I feel is something reasonable, and comparing it to any killer perk, it is still more powerful then all of them. And 4 survivors can have it. Wheras expose perks are the closest to free escape perks killers have, and all of them either take work to get that may not get proced, wheras DS will always trigger no matter how you get off the hook, or are destroyed as a totem. And one of those perks, Hex: Devour hope, requires both work AND is a totem that can be destroyed.

I'd rather increase it to something like 1 minute and 30 seconds but make it so that it activates only if the killer is withing 40 meters radious around the hook when unhooking happens insted of when just unhooking randomly.

Are you serious right now? If they are going to change that time it's going to be unplayable perk. Don't complain about things you don't know how to outplay.

Instead of lowering the timer, the perk should deactivate when the Survivor interacts with something. If you’re outside of the terror radius for more than 5 seconds (10 or 15 if you just got unhooked), then the timer goes down twice as fast. This way the Killer won’t be punished because the Survivor made a bad play.

DS is fking awful perk iv had scumbag survivors body block hit for other survivors after being unhook knowing full well I can't pick them up for 60sec because the fear of Ds so I leave them go on chase then there back up again it is fking annoying then sometimes U get bot survivors who get unhook run away then run into U so U hit them but noooo can't pick them up incase ds so U leave them it's really such pain in ass n punish killer for nothing

Grabbing off objectives should negate DS. If you got caught on one, more likely then not you were either dumb or they lost you and then just found you again.

Easy fix, grabs/if a survivor is hooked while your DS is active, it gets shut off. If I had time to chase, down, and hook another survivor, I'm clearly not tunneling you. 5s stun is absurd.
