Are They Nerfing Ghostface?
I took a long break from Dbd because the game felt very survivor focused, I was really excited for the release of Ghostface and more so when I saw he had potential to be a viable killer but I just now heard from a Fog Whisperer the he will be receiving a nerf and all I can say id why. He has been live for one day did survivors cry that much why does he need a nerf? He gets broken out stealth very quickly his power is slow without addons and Object of Obsession destroys him pretty hard. If he gets nerfed like the Plague got nerfed I think I will be quitting Dbd permanently. The killer is the power role its a 4v1 game so he should be strong making the killers toys for the survivors is just bad design.

It will be a very minor nerf. Read the patch notes. Or like one of the other half a dozen threads already talking about this.

@Milo MoM got a nerf because it was like old legion and required no skill to use a strong perk, now survivors have to get off of 'er "buns" (I have no idea if the new censorship system blocks the word I wanted to say) and take hits and get protection, even though it is bugged atm

I really doubt that thing they did with MoM should be called nerf, you can get tokens just with safe unhooks and bodyblocking, perfect for SWF.

@Theluckyboi they removed the option to get tokens from safe unhooks, it’s only protection hits now. To be fair the devs really nerfed MoM, but I think it’s good for the health of the game.

The game is still very survivor bias, the devs need to stop balancing for rank 20s and look at the red ranks.

I faced my first Ghost today. I was Exposed instantly with no warning, and then face camped in the basement until death. It doesn't look like you can cancel his stalk within reason.

8% is not minor, it makes him get revealed much easier, since a split second from survivor will reset the counter

its bugfixes, and qol changes. The only thing thats an actual nerf, is the nerf to his addons, because they are currently broken. Other addons are being buffed.

In my opinion, the detection is way too finicky to make it easier, I had moments where I was spotted and recovered by breaking line of sight, only it didn’t work. There was another time I got knocked out while a survivor was crouching fully hidden behind cover. That is a serious issue thats need to be fixed before the adjustments become a thing. Hell from truetalent’s vids it’s also possible to break ghostface when you’re fully behind a solid wall....yeah that’s fair. I also have been able to expose survivors but they are very good enoughbto where they can loop me long enough to where the timer expires. If ghostface does get nerfs, he needs buffs and adjustments to other areas that can reward skilled players. This is why i hate the legion rework cause yeah his base stats are good his power is almost useless cause they didn’t add anything for skill. An example would be chaining hits in one session of feral frenzy to reduce his frenzy cooldown.

Whoever posted this feed needs to take a look at every patch note over the last year and see how survivors have been nerfed and Killers have been buffed. Kellerman's feel so entitled because of their lack of skill LOL!

Honestly, I played against him a few times today.
Didn't really find it difficult to knock him out of stealth.
