Can we quit getting nerfed stackable add-ons?
I'm seriously getting sick and tired of this. It happened to Legion and now it'd happening to Ghostface. The very practice of stacking add-ons is absurd unless it provides a huge benefit that still allows for some counterplay like Freddy does with his block add-ons. I get there's a problem with things like Instasaw Billy, but negligible buffs shouldn't require you to use two add-ons to work properly.
The add-ons I'm referring to for Ghostface is the stalking add-ons. They have been changed so you can't stack two add-ons to get a 1.5 stalk decrease because now it's 1 second. Not too bad of a nerf until you realize that the yellow add-on only reduces the stalk requirement by .25 seconds (previously .5) and the other is .75 seconds (previously 1 second). Are you kidding me? Why can't it be something like .6 seconds for the yellow add-on and a full second for the other and just make them NOT stack? Is that so much to ask for? Good add-ons without the expense of running a full build?
The thing is this happened to Legion too with the cool down add-ons. There are three add-ons that affect cool down time: Julie's Mixtape, Joey's Mixtape, and Cold Dirt. The numbers that they reduce the cool down are in the same order: .2 seconds, .4 seconds, and .6 seconds. Do you seriously expect me to be able to use .2 seconds on it's lonesome? Even .4 seconds? The reason these were reduced so low was because of Joey's Mixtape and Cold Dirt causing absurdly short cool downs, so why didn't you just keep them the same but make them not stack? I get that the purpose of the cool down is to allow distance to be made by the survivor, however, the purpose of add-ons is to get a numerical bonuses that allow killers to catch survivors or allow different playstyles.
As it is right now, these add-ons cannot be used by their lonesome because of the extremely small benefits they provide. By having these add-ons be required to be run together, it lowers build diversity. You don't see Doctor having to run the green and yellow electrode just to get a noticable distance. Please reconsider these changes to Ghostface before they go live and Legion when you can.

I just wish I didn’t have to get these numbers from a list... I tremendously hate it

That may be true for Clown, however, the add-ons I'm discussing is for how the killer can more easily catch the survivors before they get to somewhere safe, not making it harder for survivors to get there. Legion's cool down add-ons hardly achieve that now and are instead meant to get you into the chase faster as they can't shorten the stun enough to capitalize on a mistake from the survivor. In regards to Ghostface, the power of the add-ons are so small they can't be used without each other (it's less abhorent than Legion at least). Ghostface has no problem with the normal stalking time, but I expect for a noticable difference to be in effect when I use an add-on. Right now, the yellow add-on decreases the stalking rate by .25 seconds, which is 1/20th of the normal stalking rate. That isn't going to save me any time for stalking people like it's supposed to. I'm going to have to stalk 4 survivors before I can save 1 seconds in a match. If it were .6 seconds though, I'd be saving 2.4 seconds or at least be able stalk somebody to Marked before I get knocked out of Night Shroud.
Besides that, I'd like to spend the time to thank you for your providing insight onto the effect of small numbers, @DudeDelicious. I'm also interested into what your thoughts are on buffing individual add-ons, but not letting them stack. You said you disagreed to my post, but you also vouched that small numbers having a larger role than I anticipated. Do you disagree with the idea of not being to stack add-ons or buffing singular add-ons? Both maybe?
