BloodPoint Store
While playing I realized the bloodweb can be a bit daunting for players.
Have the developers ever thought to implement a store that would let you buy items, perks, and add-ons with the same cost of BP, as opposed to the bloodweb?
It would be nice to have more freedom, to buy flashlights, or add-ons specific to my killer at my leisure. I would be able to use my BP efficiently and economically that way. Currently many items and add-ons in the bloodweb are filler, wasting precious BP. I think a BP store will still give a feeling of grinding for those who like it, while also allowing players more freedom of choice.
It sounds very nice. Maybe even make prestige clothing purchasable.
P1 clothing: 50k BP
P2 clothing: 75k BP
P3 clothing: 1M BP
Would you all like this as a community? What are your thoughts on this?

I would be happy with anything that makes the grind in this game any lower. It is currently scary to see how much you need to invest in any single character.

I would love that

I'd be fine with that if it was triple the prices, so something on the bloodweb worth 5000k is worth 15000k in the store, but we can have the bloodweb and the store.

I agree, it takes an enormous amount of time to level a character to where you want.

I was talking about this with my friend the other day whilst we played and we both agreed that it'd be a bad idea as it'd literally make the game pay to win.
Cosmetics don't matter, because they don't really impact the gameplay, they're just there for people like myself that enjoy giving their characters cool outfits. Perks and add-ons however, do actually affect the gameplay, so it just wouldn't be fair that you could buy them whilst other people who don't have the luxury of forking out cash have to hustle for them.

You're "Buying" them with BP, which is BloodPoints an in game Currency earned by playtime, not real money lol

Maybe Buying Perks will require more BP in comparison to say an add-on. Maybe those could be the price for Perks in the BP store?

@Gardenia Sorry I completely misread your main post, I thought you said it'd be a good idea if we could buy Bloodpoints with real money and use them to buy perks and add-ons lol.

It's alright :3

I think this would be a great idea tbh.
I've saved up so many BP to put them into a character and I just find useless perk after useless perk. It sometimes just feels like a game of luck as the Bloodweb is so random, you just never know when you're going to find the stuff you want.
I've also never been a fan of the whole teachable perks thing. Having to get each survivor to at least level 35 took me so long to do and then you have to grind and grind to put those perks onto the survivor(s) of your choosing. It's just endless work. 😂

I think leaving the bloodweb and adding a store with tripled prices would be ideal.
You want that hex ruin 3 but you cannot find it? Spend 21k BP and it's yours

I really hope they focus on something like this soon enough.

No, it will let the game die faster from now because everyone can easily get the perk (such as BBQ, hex:ruin, DS,BT and so on)
They will also only buy good addon, so everytime the killer will use ultra rate add on and same goes to survivor

I'm sure a lot of people have ultra addons available and choose not to use them. Besides, what you are saying is that there are meta perks around. I'm not sure about most players, but I like to rotate my builds around for either farming or more fun. If you are afraid of a killer using the best addons at every game, bring the best items and corresponding add-ons for survivors, also available at the store following the logic of the proposal made.

But if the prices are high enough, it wouldn't be super easy to use BP to attain the ultra rare add-ons. You'll still need to put some work in and earn them. It'll just feel like less of a chore.

I'm really satisfied to see I'm not the only one who would want this

I'd keep the prestige clothing only for prestige. Prestige clothing should require some sort of dedication to a character (although that isn't true atm with the double bp and event lol).
