PC vs Console fight is stupid.
When I go to Twitter or check the forums, all I see from half the PC players are:
”console is trash”
”we’re waiting on your trash console so we can get the shrine back”
”stop whining about not getting the 2.0 update, you should’ve gotten a PC”
I am going to say this in the most respectful manner I can.
Just because you are playing on a different platform than somebody else does not make you in any way superior to them. May I remind you that Dead By Daylight is just a GAME where we are all meant to have fun.
If they play on a different platform than you, it doesn’t give you the right to curse them out or brag about how the platform you’re playing on is better than theirs. Almost every game that starts on PC ends up expanding their content to console. We are ALL playing the SAME game, just because they’re not sitting behind a computer playing it doesn’t mean they’re not playing the same s h i t as you. Accept the fact that not everyone can afford a high end PC or that they just preferably prefer to play on console.
Get over it and grow up. You look pathetic as ######### cursing people out and bragging all because they play on a different platform than you.

The first time I saw DBD was in the PS4 store, If I had known it was on Steam, I would’ve bought it on PC instead. I do think playing on PC is better than playing on console because they have a lot more control with movements and 360s but I don’t belittle and curse out people because they play on a different platform than me.0 -
I have an awesome PC but just prefer consoles in general. Less chances of hackers ruining the game. I just wish DBD would be keyboard and mouse compatible on console. Although I can still outplay any killer with a controller, or any survivors just the same.
I just say ignore the children who love to bait fights because they never got enough love as a child growing up. Be happy and play how you want.

30 FPS vs 144 FPS.. The choice is obvious. Plus I enjoy all my legacy outfits.2

I have both a PC and PS4 and prefer the PS4 (except this month). That's my preference . I do wish there was a chat box in pre and post game on PS4.1

I USED to think like this in my late 20's and early 30's. I was angered by the movement I saw against PC gaming. PCs are obviously the better platform for gaming in terms of raw power. They simply can't be beat. When you buy a console....it's stuck in stone. Before you even bought a console, as in, when it was being packaged at the plant it was made at, it was already outdated....now you have to live with it for the next few years or buy the new model when it came out. The price of those 2 console purchases combined, you could have built a nice mid-level PC gaming rig.
I saw dedicated servers being replaced with P2P online gaming. The loss of public server files that allowed for modding and custom playstyles. For titles like Call of Duty, I saw what were once free "map packs" (usually sponsored by Intel, or Nvidia) replaced by DLC which had to be purchased. No my friends, I saw nothing good about console culture replacing PC gaming.
I saw programming that shifted from top of the line amazing graphics to tailor made for the lowest common denominator...."Watch Doges" anyone? It was as if gaming programmers could only push the limits of development that consoles would allow. The limitations of consoles WAS the bottleneck for gaming.
As a PC gamer, we had it thrown in our faces, that yes, PCs are the better platform, but console makers were going to lie about it. Showcasing their games as a console, when it was discovered they were indeed showing their games on PC.
Funny looking consoles under that desk....they almost look like PC towers.
So whats the take away from all this? Money. No doubt about it...not even a close argument can be made. Console gamers have the gaming industry wallet. There is more **consolidated **money in console gaming then there ever was for PCs. Both Xbox and PS had the user base and the interest to lobby the gaming industry for control. I bought my case from Cooler Master, my RAM from Crucial, my GPU from EVGA....etc., etc. etc.....but these are component vendors. These company don't do anything to lobby game developers as a unified single element to promote PC gaming. PC gaming had the big stick, but no one to wield it for them.
Adapt or die. Console gamers are here to stay. Even IF PC gamers spend more money on their rigs, it can't be quantified. Console producers can easily say, "Here, look at how much money we make for the gaming industry", and that speaks volumes.
Now in my 40's, I've taken a much more amicable approach to gaming. As it pertains to this discussion, I've adopted the mentality of "Whatever keeps you gaming". If you prefer consoles, so be it. PCs, so be it. Just don't stop gaming. I have NO doubt I'll continue gaming into my 50's and 60's. With the days of salad and glory gone from PC gaming....it's interesting to me, to think what of my memory is more rooted in nostalgia and what was really important. I've never blamed console gamers for their choice. I still feel it's based on ignorance. And there was a time when it was easy to point out the differences and advantages. That was 10 years ago. Now, PC gamers are so like console gamers due to culture and integration....there's not much console gamers are missing out on anymore, as such, the advantage to distinction can no longer be made. Now I'm to the point I just want all games to be cross-platform. If PC gaming can't "beat" console gaming for development....join them, in the true sense of play with them.

I have been a console player since nintendo 8, I just prefer it for most games. But I love my pc too, but it is mainly for world of warcraft and lol. I tried dbd on my pc, but it just didnt fit my style, probably if I had started on pc I would have liked it more, but now i am used to the ps4 and have waaaay too many hours is it to ever do the change.
People will always think they are superior on things, so why bother. Love the platform that floats your boat and the hell with everyone else. No point arguing about it.2 -
1st Look at the "Bug Report Forum".... PC is abov 700 entries XBox and Ps4 under 50 (MORE bugs on PC)
2nd Pc got a huge Hacker Problem.. xbox/ps4 not1st PC got Legacy
2nd Pc get the Content faster and get the PTBhmm... i think the Consoles Won
