Bloodpoints can’t be used to buy cosmetics or DLCs. Bloodpoints are SOLEY used by the Bloodweb to level up your character, and NOTHING else. The new Auric Cells, along with the repurposed Iridescent Shards, are SOLEY used to buy items from the in-game store, and NOTHING else. Auric Cells are DLC items just like Curtain Call is. ALL new DLCs are being delayed due to BHVR not submitting them to the PlayStation Store until now. They could have easily submitted the items for inclusion in the store as hidden items a month ago, but they didn’t. This creates a catch-22 as the blood points can’t be used to level up the Clown or Kate.

Have you looked in the mirror, BHVR submitted the entire thing to Sony for certification, since Sony considers the dlc and cosmetics dlc they're being delayed unlike Microsoft which didn't and so they came out with the patch. Go read what's been posted since obviously you haven't done any of what you're accusing other of being brain dead for.
Now since Sony has decided to release it in 2 separate waves for EU and NA unike Microsoft that managed to turn it on worldwide. This would mean that it's Sony's fault and no BHVR because again Sony considered it all dlc.
I'll leave to @Lowbei 's tender mercies since you obviously need some serious help or better yet wheres @DocOctober with his usual Doctor meme?

Seems they don't understand time zones, not surprised, they didn't understand that currency has a conversion rate either.
A day ends at 23:59:59 that is the last second of a day. So Midnight of the 5th would be 12:00:00 of the 5th. Obviously they messed that up, since by saying 27 hours (when they did) that would be the 6th in UTC and 8pm EST on July 5th.

Patch passed certification for both consoles yet only Sony decided that everything in the patch was dlc as was posted in the big sticky.

The PS4 2.0.0 update will be available for everyone on July 5th at 1PM UTC.DLCS RELEASES
PS4 EU and PS4 NA are two different entities that are managed separately, this is why the DLCs releases have different dates.
The Curtain Call Chapter as well as Auric Cells packs are considered DLCs by Sony. This means that before the DLCs are made available in their respective stores, players won't be able to buy Auric Cells Packs or the Curtain Call Chapter but will be able to play the 2.0.0 content.
PS4 EU will have access to the DLCs on July 6th at midnight local time (between thursday and friday).
PS4 NA will have access to the DLCs on July 9th at midnight local time (between sunday and monday).There I even boided it for you, now want to try and explain how it's not Sony's fault that they decided that the stuff was DLC unlike Microsoft that had no issues releasing everything at the same time?
