Help with last perk on my Spirit build please
Currently my Spirit build is Ruin, BBQ, Surveillance, and Nurse’s Calling. I really like using Nurse’s Calling (especially on small terror radius Killers) because Survivors won’t hear my terror radius until I’ve already seen their aura. However, I’ve seen how deadly she can be with Discordance and I’ve been wondering if I should use it instead of Nurse’s. All the perks mentioned here are at tier 3, with the exception of Discordance (tier 2, meaning the gen is highlighted for 10 seconds instead of 12).

If you run a gen based build you could go with something like :
Discordance, surveillance, pop goes and bbq
With prayer beads plus yakuyoke or yakuyoke plus dirty uwabaky or wakizashi saya.
Granted you can find the first survivors fast you will be deadly.
In this regard, you won't need ruin because in my experience ruin counters discordance, in the sense that survivors are less keen to work together with ruin.
Now all I said doesn't apply to red ranks, BUT why would you want to play vs gen Rushers?
Green ranks and those builds are a great mstch

Since Spirit is high tier Killer, she needs mostly informational perks. Ruin is pretty bad choice unless you run Haunted Grounds.
You can run gen protector build with PGTW, Surveillance, Discordance and BBQ
You can run one-shot build with MYC, Furtive Chase, BBQ/Whispers and Infectious Fright
You can run for a while Furtive Chase + PWYF since it is bugged now, but I dont think it is a good idea.
Nurse's is good in pair with Sloppy, since healing takes longer, and more chances to find them, especially if you take M&A to lessen your TR even more.

I'm just going to give you a hypothetical as someone who has only played against her. Say you run full gen-grab (whatever that may be as I look at other posts). I'm not sure what add-ons you would be running (probably prayer beads?). Even if you went silent and gen grab, you pull off the first person. If it was discordance, an aware survivor would be able to look out for it in the future. I'm just thinking that as the game progresses, gen-grabs should get harder. I say should but you'll probably see potatoes at certain points. It's a similar problem to scratched-mirror Myers. It's definitely a game-slowing build, if that's what you're into.

Any aura or information perk work, Bitter Murmur helps her pretty well, or Rancor.

My go-to build for Spirit is bb&c, surveillance, sloppy butcher, and save the best for last. Devour hope plus thrill if the hunt for a hex game with haunted grounds and ruin if you want to go all out.
Also, overcharge works well for me, even in higher ranks. Distressing can be good on her as well due to the phasing being silent to those within her terror radius.

I would swap Surveillance for Sloppy Butcher (good anti healing perk).
NC is pretty good on Spirit. But you can use Surveillance or Discordance if you like.

if you're going to run NC i would recommend using sloppy instead of surveillance
if you're running ruin then kicking gens is kind of wasteful

To preface, I am not a spirit player.
I'm wondering why you're looking to switch NC with Discordance when you already have Surveillance? You have two decent tracking perks in BBQ and Surveillance, and Discordance is similar to Surveillance. Maybe consider keeping NC and looking at whether Surveillance or Discordance would be a better fit for you.

I was thinking about swapping NC with Discordance so it would be easier to find and grab Survivors off the gens. I was thinking about the Surveillance and Discordance combo as a backup in case my Ruin is destroyed.
PGTW does seem like a pretty good choice for a gen build. I've heard good things about it on Spirit. I often use Yakuyoke+Prayer Beads and Wakizashi+Katana Tsuba (the other reappearance duration add-on).
I actually didn't think about Survivors not wanting to work together on a gen because of Ruin. I was thinking more about Survivors who knew how to work through Ruin skillchecks and having a back up for when my Ruin gets destroyed.
I hate playing against gen rushers. It's not fun at all. If you make even the smallest mistake, you could end up losing two gens.

Working through a gen with ruin is risky because two people may get more skill checks, now this doesn't apply if they can get most ruin skill chrvks :)

@Frozenscum Ruin is basically a mandatory perk on every killer except Nurse and Billy. Spirit has good map pressure but she can’t fly across the map as easily as Nurse or Billy. Also when she uses her power to get to one side of the map she is out of a power until it recharges. On a map like Coal Tower...Ruin is not needed, but if you just so happen to get Rotten Fields or Red Forest you can’t defend generators easily.
Just because she is high tier doesn’t mean she doesn’t rely on Ruin. She’s great in a chase but generators will pop left and right because she is unable to guard the generators AND chase at the same time.

I do not use Ruin for pretty long time, since above rank 10 that perk is practically useless.
Here is one game I've played couple of days ago at Lery's against Billy, beeing a bit drunk after friends meeting. Since I dont play much as survivor, so I'm pretty potatoish. Timestamp at point when I had chance to repair gen. Teammates were potatos as well, so Billy had nice potato salad there, not to mention he had lags switches.
