For a stealth killer, Ghostface is really loud.
Between his leather clothes and his “static” noise when he walks around I n his power, he’s surprisingly loud. He’s not nearly as scary as Myers because I can hear GF when he’s nearby and/or stalking me. Not to mention any anti-stealth perks, but I know the devs are looking into those.
Maybe consider making him... stealthy?

yea, there has been a few times that i have heard his weird noises while shrouded and just walked away and pulled him out of it. he is a true "stealth" killer.

What's that?! I can't hear you over the sound of the airplanes coming from my clothes!

Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,Entity, i'm trying to sneak around, but i'm dummy loud and squeaking of my leather keep alerting the survivors.

honestly my ps4 sounds like an airplane so he and every slight sound are inaudible for me so i dont mind it , maybe thats why i dont know when hes coming

Lol yeah the squeaky leather is a little obnoxious & the shroud noises give him away at times. To be fair though you can hear Michael’s breathing too.

He should at the very least be less audible when crouched and shrouded

With Michael’s breathing though I feel like it’s, “Wait did I hear something?” rather than, “That’s definitely GF around that corner.”

All "stealth" killers should have a subtle clue like that (since absolute silence is improbable).

He has to go commando that's his destiny.

You'll notice all stealth killers are loud.
Wraith has heavy foot steps.
Pig and Myers have very loud breathing.
Ghost Face's cloak flaps loudly.
Some balance for the total lack of terror radius and red stain. Least you can stalk like Myers from a distance.

They should just hire a tuba player to follow stealth killers around.

Except all the others killers sounds are subtle. You could mistake them for ambient noise or another survivor.

Oh no I don't - I always know when a Myers or Pig is creeping nearby even working on a gen I can hear it. Very distinctive to me. I can even hear the Spirit with prayer beads if I listen close enough.

That's kinda the point. You have to train to listen. With GF, he sounds like a cyclone. Just, tune it down a bit.

I proposed a change to his Crouch in another post that I believe would help it and make it more useful to him as well as address his noise issue:
Crouch = Silence & Vegetation Transparency. All of his normal noises he makes like the Ribbon Flapping sounds, and that eerie ghostly wind noise when he's in Night Shroud mode go completely silent when he's crouched. He still moves slower, but gains the ability to sneak up on survivors better. On top of that it would also be nice if Crouching rendered all vegetation within 20 meters of him 80-90% transparent so that he can stalk through grass and corn for a limited range. It would make him Terrifying on the Rotten Fields and to a lesser degree the Swamp maps.
The way I see it, the noise kinda makes sense when he's in Night shroud mode and still running around at 4.6m/s balance wise. In contrast look at Shape; at EW1 his TR is at its smallest, but he also moves slower. So with GF already being able to shut off his TR and Stain, they compensated by making him noisy, but unfortunately they made him a little too noisy with no way of turning his volume down. This change would simply apply the same logic behind Shapes stealth at EW1: He's Silent, but moves slower.
As for the Vegetation Transparency, That's a no-brainer, and could even apply to Pig when she crouches. He can't stalk what he can't see, but whenever he crouches, low level grass gets in his face and prevents him from stalking survivors that he otherwise should be able to, and this happens usually at choice stalking positions where the survivors are less likely to see him if he's crouched. This proposed change corrects that and gives him an edge in Vegetation heavy environments, but only for 20m.
I just feel that aside from t-bagging survivors, and slightly lowering survivors ability to detect him, crouching is more of a hindrance to him currently since it puts grass right in his face that he can't stalk through on most occasions, and survivors can still hear him moving around. These changes would correct those issues and make crouching worthwhile and practical for him.
Would this make him too OP?

In all honesty, ghostface is a true stalker killer. Unlike Myers, Pig or Wraith, his ability isn't meant to let you sneak right up on them, but get close and watch them. His job isn't to rush survivors, but watch then suddenly spring at them, downing them instantly.
