One time surprisingly a Killer tried to DDos me for running him around :/ think he tried to swat me too luckily couldn't get my IP. I come prepared for that stuff because I was swatted once over another game. I've had a few survivors try to tell me they know where I live and they were going to come kill me as well. People in this game and many others just brings out the worst.

I’ve had people talk about how they were going to assault me. I mean that in all sense of the word, not just physically. And they described it in great detail. These people also claimed to know where I lived..... which is actually terrifying when you know how easy it is to find ips if you really want to.

@Pike_Trickfoot Yea because of how I was swatted before I always have a ton of stuff to hide my ######### while playing games now it's scary how easy it is to find out where people live if they don't have stuff set up

Press that button on the chatbox. It'll close the chatbox and it won't open until you press the button again.
Also make sure to make it so that not-friends can leave comments on your steam profile.
It'll save you a lot of sanity.

I had some dude tried to fight me once. Told me where he lived and everything, all of his own volition, I never asked for that kind of information.
Best part was he tried to brag about his size, when he was about a foot shorter than me according to his height. Made me giggle a little.
I don't believe he's an issue in the game anymore lol

Im just smiling at most things. There are guys and they feel like bs-ing you and see how you react or feel about it ^^
And they are playing game and they won or lose and now theyre bad winners or bad losers. You know how those people act
and at some point, like in your case you just report it and press Leave. That's someting that doesnt need to be discussed. Most humans know exactly what's ######### and what's okay.

In your case I can be sympathetic. However, for people exploiting, cheating, and saying stuff like what is mentioned in this post why hide them? I mean ggez and things like noob killer are lightweight. Why protect the people that look to make chat miserable?

I've been told I would be reported for things I haven't done, like being toxic or lag switching, I know I didn't cause both of our connections never faltered and I got clear play. I got more worse things said but they aren't worth the mention, just boring and plain, typical.

This always happen on PC what's probably why i don't want to go on that platform. IP's are very easy to get. on consoles we do get salty messages and even threat but to the points to get swatted and have information to where you live, it is kind of scary when we think about it.

Once again this can all be fixed if they just implement the same End Game Chat as DeathGarden...
