Best LeatherFace Build?

So the only adept achievement I need next is "adept Ghostface" and until I get the blood points to level him up enough to use his three perks, I'm playing other killers for the daily challenges for the bp to level him up. A letherface trial I was presented with was "Chainsaw four survivors" and got it done fairly easily.

After playing him, though, I realized the perks i brought along barely made a difference (at least to me) and wondered what the best load-out for him was. I know he has a strong basement game, so should i just use Agitation, Iron Grip, Monstrous Shrine, and Territorial Imperative? Or is there a better set of perks out there? Also when it comes to add ons, i'm not great with combos so i just slap any two that sound good together so any combos of those would help as well.

There is no such thing as "x best build". Every person has their own style, just pick perks that help with stuff that you struggle with.

There is, however a build that works on everyone. Bbq, knockout, corrupt intervention, sloppy butcher, whispers. Pick any 4 of those 5 and you will have good time.

Notice that i didn't list ruin. It really isn't a perk you should rely on, as it does not work when you need it. Bad survivors will spend ages looking for totem and missing skillchecks... but you don't need help with bad survivors because they are... well, bad.

Good survivors will just work through it, leaving you with only 3 perks in time you actually needed help.

Sloppy and corrupt, slow the game down, nothing to write about it. Bbq, you got someone, you go for next, cycle continous untill everyone is dead. Knockout, you downed someone but there is another one within range. Just go after them, one person is on the ground not doing anything, another in a chase and someone needs to go save first guy. That's how you stall the game.

Whispers, find first person easly, so cycle can begin early, don't waste time searching areas where there is no survivors.

On M1 killers consider using infectious fright.

    Hope that helps a bit.

Edit: Leatherface is very loopable, brutal strenght, bamboozle or fire up help a lot on him.

    Edit2: Leatherface or Ghostface?

Edit3: Playing arround basement or campy strats may work on low survivors, better players will just genrush and leave. Especially with kindred.

I use a few builds, so I'll just say these perks do really well on him.

Knockout, Play with Your Food, Barbecue, Nurse's, Ruin, Bamboozle, Sloppy, Bitter Murmur, Agitation, Dying Light, Remember Me.

    I always use my Chainsaw.

Best add ons? Never use acceleration add ons, they don't do enough, always use these green add ons, Beast Marks with Carburetor Tuning Guide or The Grease.

@ShrekIsHot yellow knife marks are good enough aswell.

    @HazeHound

Yellow Knife Marks is not as effective as Beast's Marks. Same effect for worst output.

@ShrekIsHot of course, yet noone have infinite addons and its just good enough if saving beast marks for swf for example.

I'm using BBQ on LF for points and Deerstalker to find slugs easier when I need to.

Unless you know how to bait pallet drops for their fast removal you need Enduring on LF to not respect pallets and smack through with M1.

Spirit Fury is pretty questionable, cause most survivors will drop pallets early when they recognize Enduring. Plus SF can help achieve 1 hit during trial, maaybe 2, which is not worth of perk slot as for me.

Also if they drop pallets early Enduring can be wasted slot too, so having 2 wasted slots is not a good idea.

Bamboozle is great to deny vaults and push survivors away to unsafe spots or open spaces.

BBQ is good for finding next victim after hook.

Infection Fright can be decent if you use M1 a lot instead of chainsaw.

Knock Out is decent to slug 1-2 ppl and stall game.

Whispers help to find survivors faster

PGTW is good for slowing down game, capitalizing good play

I'd suggest you try these builds:

    BBQ, Bamboozle, Enduring, Knock Out

    BBQ, Bamboozle, Whispers, PGTW

@HazeHound Leatherface, the reason i mentioned ghost face was the backstory to why im grinding blood points with Leather, which in turn lead to my curiosity on whats best for him.

I main leatherface here is the best build. For perks I would recommend ruin, bbq, enduring, and either spirit fury or bamboozle (some prefer spirit fury but I like bamboozle for ending window loops). as for addons I recommend carburetors tuning guide with either primer bulb or the grease the faster charge will allow more freedom as to where you can hit people as opposed to the speed addons which only occasionally help for those who suck at hitting the chainsaw. and if you don't like or don't have ruin pop goes the weasel is a good alternative.
