Can the devs give a detailed top down picture of certain maps

Unfortunately not, since tiles can be randomized.

Tiles are random indeed, but they do follow rules. For instance, in Ironworks of Misery, you have that huge pile of logs and the water tower. They share two places they can spawn in, and when the map is created, one of them takes the spot the other didnt. You can map out a map if you consider the different spawn points. And judging by what they showed on the anniversary stream, Badham might be less RNG, like Lery's is now. That allowed them to post a bird view of the whole map, as long as that wasnt just one iteration of it.
There used to be a website that featured most maps (the original realms, Haddonfield, Asylum, Swamp and Lery's), and it was really accurate. Some tiles might have changed though by now.

Some tiles are random, but others are always set in place, for instance, the "special" house of the map as well as the Killer shack.
You can also be guaranteed that certain areas won't ever spawn things like walls, and instead spawn low loopable obstacles and such.
Tiles aren't completely "random" it's really more window placement, pallet placement, gen and hook placement that's random.
The outline of a map never changes, nor do locations of certain tiles. You can see the outline of all the maps on the wiki.
Once the map reworks start rolling out, tiles will actually start to be randomly placed in a meaningful fashion, potentially changing the layout of the map entirely. Instead, the "special" house is what will determine the map and which tiles can and can't spawn.

For instance, this is Coal Tower's map layout. Coal Tower will ALWAYS have this outline. The Coal Tower itself and the Killer shack will ALWAYS spawn in the same spot. The giant logs in the middle ALWAYS spawn in the same spot.
All of the walls always spawn in the same areas, but the wall layouts can be random. Rocks typically spawn in the same areas. Maps aren't truly random.

Downstairs in Badham Preschool is always the same, and somehow I still managed to get lost.
