Your rank system is broken
Fix it. Rank the highest rank survivors with a killer of equal rank. Should still not be an issue unless you hate killers.

Reminder that SWF can cheat the matchmaking and it's intentional:
What's likely happening there is a SWF group. It'll use the rank of whoever started the group for matchmaking purposes

Devs: "We want to make a better ranked system!"
Also devs: "Your reward for having a high rank is longer wait times to get a lobby. Oh and SWF have a massive advantage but we don't consider that for the rank system. They can also cheat the matchmaking if they want to. Have fun!"
Rank rewards should have been a much higher priority, LONG ago. Even something basic like bonus bloodpoints would be sufficient, right now there are only downsides if you rank up (= waiting longer to get a game)

No, just have some common sense about the amount of free health states and repair speed bonuses that can be brought into the same trial. 2x Commodius BNP, 2x Instaheal, 4x Adrenaline, 4x DS should never be a thing. Comms do not break the game. 9th and 10th chances do.

Playing with friends isn't inherently cheating. And I'm not addressing the capability of such groups to exploit the matchmaking system. I'm saying that whatever the survivor group or make up is, that they should be ranked with a killer equal to the highest rank of the group. If that means longer wait times then so be it. We've just proven that queue times can take forever and people still wait to play.
