What was vanilla experiment and what do the devs want to do with the results?

    The Vanilla Experiment was a small group of people selected to play fifteen matches without any perks, add-ons, offerings, without using Survive With Friends, and without disconnecting. Players were instructed to play seriously.

    My guess is the devs are taking data from the matches, researching certain things about them, and using what knowledge they gain to evaluate certain killers and potentially create a niche gamemode for people that would enjoy a vanilla-style match.

    From my understand, last time I tried to sign up to participate, it was that you were not allowed to play with perks, addons, offerings or items.

    And what they plan on doing with the data? I don't have a clue. Check how viable some killers are in a vanilla setting?
