Am I a bad person?

For thinking about getting DBD for my PS4 too? A lot of matches on PC are very stressfull for me so I sometimes wish to just play a few casual games with no pressure, which is not possible with my main account. (also I somehow just dont want to loose pips. I know I know...)

So I thought I'll buy the game for PS4 and whenever I just want to fool around (!= bully the killer. that is not what i plan to do) I play on console in grey ranks.

Opinions?

    Go for it. No that doesn't make you a bad person.

    I do it the other way round. When Mrs JawsIsTheNextKiller is hogging DBD on the PS4, I can play on PC. I'm usually rank 20 on PC though so games are far more casual.

    I'm sure I read somewhere that BHVR were thinking about letting you share your DBD account on different platforms which would be nice. You'd still have to repurchase your DLC but you wouldn't have to redo billions of bloodpoints worth of bloodwebs.

    @dbd_noob why not just get an alt steam account and gameshare to every account on your PC. Thats how my GF plays, she plays on her own account on my PC without having to buy EVERYTHING all over again

    PS4 is just as competitive but if you have the game on two platforms, the more neglected of the two will give you more chilled games because you will probably stay around the lower ranks.

    Thx for the input guys. I did not want to say PS4 is not competitive. It doesnt matter if i create an alt account on Steam and stay at grey ranks for casual games or play on PS. I just wanted to have a reason to play on my PS4 a little bit more often as it gets more and more dusty since I got addicted to DBD

    More reasons to play PS4 version:

    * Big screen

    * Comfy chair

    * Less likely to get abuse from chat

    * Nobody can change their graphics settings to see the red stain easier

    * Other family members can easily watch

    * Nurse is worse than The Legion

    Frame-rate sucks on non-Pro consoles though.

    I am having this same issue

    I already own DBD on steam but i havent played it because my current computer is a potato when it come to games but soon i will get a new one

    I am afraid to ruin the experience for rank 20 players since they havent gotten a good grip on the game and it would just be damn unfair

    I would play survivor. I would really try to not be toxic and so forth. I thought about trying alle the funny survivor builds like unbreakable,flip-flop,tenacity,boil over. Or something like this. Maybe ultra loot builds and i run around and hand rangemedkits with instaheals to other survivors

    EDIT: is unbreakable even available on PS4?

    Once it comes to mobile, I really hope they let us transfer existing accounts! I’m eager for a chance to to hunt down some of my non-PS4 friends!

    @dbd_noob

    yes, unbreakable is on PS4.

    I play DBD on PS4 and it's the same as on PC but, more stressful in a way when it comes to the controls.

    At least there's a community where you can join SWF lobbies, KYF lobbies, etc. If they send you an invite anyway-

    Do what you need to enjoy the game. I keep myself in green ranks as a Survivor normally because while I like the challenge there is still some variety. Killer wise I keep myself in the 15-20. So much less stressful, I can try out new Killers or different perk builds, and just sit back and have fun.

    Why would that make you a bad person? If you enjoy the game and want to play it on a different platform, then by all means do so. Only thing that matters is your enjoyment. Video games are entertainment. Do what entertains you.

    I just dont want to be a toxic scum that bullies killers that have not played as much as I do. I hate it if a killer is "toxic" and I would really want to not be like this (as a surv). So if I go up against R15-20 Killers, they could get a bad experience and I really like everybody in a match to have fun. Do I contribute to the toxicity then?

    If you're worried about it being unfair for the others still learning the game, play challenge runs. Come up with a few things like always sprint/don't break pallets etc to make the matches more difficult for yourself.

    @blue4zion that sounds like a good idea, but my goal is to play "unranked" fun matches where i dont have to be a sweaty tryhard.

    I know people here in the forums tend to say that red rank survivor is easy as the killers are so weak, but for me it is pretty difficult to rank up in reds and if i start playing for fun, i will derank. And somehow rank matters way to much for me so I dont want that either...i know...
